Welcome to the official tumblr of the independently produced "Mouse the Witching Cat" by Franki Lew and it's subsequent expanded lore - the series is, as of now, dubbed 'Oddities in October'.
It's a picture book series about the lives of animal pets/companions to monsters (familiars), and the various going's on in their humble little Haunted Hollow.
I literally can't pick which among them is my favorite design. They were so much for the make and then put out as a product of my own.
@odditiesnoctobermidnightroad sent me the Mouse The Witching Cat medallion they made, which is now the star of my car key ring, AND some fantastic little freebies in the envelope, AND some delightful doodles!! You should check out their stuff and get some of their merch and support their work, its truly one of a kiiind! 🎃🎃
Yeah I guess the site I used just copypastes the discs without a proper link to product page so-
here's the Mousecapade's all out sale on the ebook over on our website.
"Mouse the Witching Cat" ebook
Mouse is a Witching Cat (familiar; a witches companion) but would rather be her own witch instead. With her friends Fluffy, Cavity, Monty Cristo, and Crooner she embarks on a journey to build up enough magic and cast a spell that will make her outsides look more like her insides. But, is it possible there’s more to being a witch than just looking like one?

“Mouse the Witching Cat” is a story of discovery and learning to value what you are instead of what you aren’t. It’s a story born out of a struggle for self-worth, but also born out of a love for animals, monster mashes, spooky stories and all matter of Autumnal media.
When I published “Mouse” in 2019, it was without much thought or direction into really making a book and so is very amateur. I’ve since accepted that this book will always be in an experimental limbo of sorts and so the next stop is this polished, updated ebook version. This ebook has new art made specifically for it and future reprintings, from redraws to extra scenes. It has more fun messing around with text and it’s been thoroughly scrubbed of it’s original cursed typos from the Beta edition.
Because of its style, “Mouse” is a better book for adults to read to their children rather than a tool to teach kids proper grammar, but for those that know what they’re in for, it’s an interesting read.
I live and breathe off your support and your purchasing of Mouse is one of the biggest gifts you can give me as an artist. I could never be more thankful!
For some reason, despite showing up find for me before, tumblr is having problems showing either the preview images or linking to where you buy the buttons!!

Charlie the goat, who played Black Phillip in The Witch, was so terrifying and frustrating on set that now he is not allowed to work in show business and lives on a farm in North Carolina.
When you're born a lycanthropy-werechild you must be pretty used to talking to your animal friends. Not so much the case with your 'once fully human'-dad...but that's what familiar friends are here for!
