Light turned around, taking notice of the stranger’s features. “ You’re a foreigner. ” The words came out of his mouth right away. “ I’m sorry, ” he quickly apologized, smiling at the other person. “ That’s not the best way to start a conversation, is it? ” The sentence was followed by a chuckle from Light. He’s always felt like socializing with other people was more of a job to him. “ How can I help you? My name is Yagami Light. And if it’s not too much, can you tell me why are you visiting Japan? ” ♰ 

          ❝ ---oh thank god. ❞ she said, grabbing up her bag and the guitar that had been laying on the booth across from her at her table. ❝ don’t you don’t mind --- just long enough to get some help. ❞ she sat across from him now, guitar leaned up against the side of the booth and bag dropped next to it, ❝ ---- angel hollen. i’m originally from france but music brought me here. ❞ grey eyes looked at him, larger than a normal person’s --- contacts. long hair flowed over shoulders, one side pink and the other black. dress was old-fashioned --- something a child would put on a baby doll. ❝ sadly, i don’t know the language enough ---- english is my second language and even i struggle at that. been trying to figure out what to eat for the past twenty minutes.  ❞

          moving to japan may have been a bad idea --- well, it could have been a better one if she had learned more of the language first. she was at a loss, sitting in the cafe with orbs glued to the menu. for a while there weren’t any other customers, until a young man came and sat at the booth behind her. she took in a breath, mustering up the courage to talk to a stranger that may not even speak a mutual language, ❝ uhmmm....excuse me? ❞ she asked timidly as she turned around in her seat, ❝ you wouldn’t happen to know english, would you? ❞
