Grian has several eyes, like waaayyy too many, most of which aren’t even physically attached to him but still work for some reason.

When he gets sick, all the eyes get really red and gross, like when you wake up after being asleep for 12+ hours but like 10x worse. He goes through like 10 bottles of eyedrops every time he’s sick and makes his illness everyone else’s problem (mostly Mumbo, Scar, and Pearl)

Mumbo became mortal in season 10, unfortunately that meant that when he was exiled, he had been experiencing back and joint pain, normally, he would relax in his town when that happened, but because he was in exile, he went into the welcome room and layed down in the chair. It was unfortunatly not a very good chair and when he next saw scar he scolds scar for making an uncomfortable chair. How dare he

Grian is so glad he and mumbo didn't have to stay in exile, he was worried about mumbo in exile and also he missed the cherry mountain already

Grian is part Phantom amongst the Watcher and Parrot aspects of him. I imagine it to be a bit of a werewolf type situation. I'll never forget you, Phantom Menace Grian...

Grian has to eat things in even numbers/in pairs or else things feel unbalanced and weird. If he’s eating something that has an odd number of pieces he’ll split the odd one out into halves so it becomes two

I've seen so many things about avians [or avian adjacent] giving feathers to people they consider flock [family], but what if it was different?

So grian is giving out feathers left and right to the hermits, they think this is wholesome because the popular [but incorrect] belief of avian feathers.

In reality grian is just giving out feathers that fall out of his wings because what else is he going to do with them? Can't use feathers if they ain't attached, and most that fall out are dead or bent or something.

[There are a few exceptions to this, like with mumbo or scar where he will pluck out perfectly healthy feathers and give them to them because thats actually how avians tell flock]

grian was signed up for figure skating as a child (before he joined yhs, which i think was around 7 in the series if i remember correctly) and still continues to figure skate to his current time in hermitcraft

scar likes to do those paintings by numbers things but with those little gems and glue. at first, he got one of those at some merch stall on one of his first mcc trips, but now he realised how great they are, how much it helps to start up the creativity procces while also having smth to calm your mind and he cant stop doing them whenever he needs that spark of creativity or to just relax

and that was well and good, until other hermits saw those things..

grian found them Fascinating but this obsession lasted only a few days, but the word spread around like crazy and lots of people you wouldnt even expect picked up that hobby!

one of them is doc, who saw it as a helpful tool to train his minor motoric skills in his mechanical arm, but after a whole nighter and 3 finished paintings later...well. yk how obsessive some redstoners can be. Speaking of!

tango and cub both started work on producing their own paintings-by-numbers! cubs was really easy to use and had all the colours, and he kinda revolutionized the glue part of it all... yk. a side effect bound to happen. which became a big seller FAST

tango desided to be even More creative with it, by using redstone. it meant his paintings had to be bigger, yes. but its like... a painting and a "redstone for dummies" type thing. some of the gems were made of redstone and acted as conductors, so by sticking them in right places it could glow! it had some... firey accidents in the procces. you know... glue, paper, power. gotta be careful!

anyways. hermitcraft got introduced to paintings-by-mnumbers and their little world gained a new group obsession, but this time it didnt involve any deaths, lag or mischievery so thats a plus!

Xisuma avoids looking people in the eyes due to an amnesia-like affect that occurs to whoever is looking at them.

Sometimes, rarely, Xisuma will also forget something if he looks into the other Hermit’s eyes for too long.

A random memory is, just, forgotten.

Keralis always tries to look Xisuma in the eyes. He’s not immune to it, of course. That’s why Keralis can’t tell you his middle name. Or his last name.

Xisuma once locked eyes with Mumbo and they both forgot what a sheep was called.

Doc also doesn’t know what alliums are called, due to the fact that he happened to glance into Xisuma’s gaze; He hides this fact and avoids flowers at all costs.

Continuation on “evil x has a castle in the void” (which hasn’t been answered yet so for all I know has been lost to that very same void) he likes to collect random creatures that he finds in the void friendly voidbeasts, not-so-friendly voidbeasts, voidbeasts that have become injured in some way, Grian, (who at the time fell into the previous two categories) overworld creatures that somehow fell into the void and survived. He has a lot of pets

Very soon after Mumbo ate Grian's soul, they both found themselves dragged away by Scar to take part in a long seminar on the Soul trade. He said it was alright this time since Mumbo is trustworthy, but it is VERY important to know the basics of anima-economics and Soul anatomy before you go messing around. Neither Grian nor Mumbo ever questioned why Scar knew so much about the value of a human soul, but figured it probably had something to do with selling his own soul to the Vex..

There was once a rumour going around that Grian had been with this famous guy.

Instead of denying it, Grian played into it and absolutely destroyed the man's pride AND reputation.

Someone once asked how big the guy was and Grian just replied with "It barely existed."

The guy never recovered and is now a walking joke.

Lesson learned: Do not start rumours about Grian, he will respond by starting even more savage rumours about you.

No one is allowed to give Grian any alcohol. Last time this happened, he managed to destroy an entire server from just being drunk.

i’ve got a blind rendog headcannon that spawned just because of those stupid diamond glasses he wears. he is just wearing straight gem on his face there’s no way he can see through that, therefore, blind rendog is born

The majority of builds on Hermitcraft don’t have smoke alarms. There are a couple reasons for this.

#1, fire (usually) doesn’t spread, so things burning isn’t really an issue.

#2, fireworks and rockets are used very frequently, and constant beeping is very annoying.

#3, it’s very common for certain Hermits to catch on fire from pranks, touching redstone, messing with Doc, etc.

#4, Tango emits smoke when eating certain things and with extreme emotions, and he’d prefer if he didn’t have to deal with loud beeps whenever he tries to do redstone.

On the other hand, the few times smoke alarms are used they’re for anti-Tango (and sometimes Scar) alarm systems. Don’t want a Tango somewhere? Put in some smoke alarms! They’ll alert you about 60% of the time.

Bdubs and Etho’s smoke alarms keep getting disassembled, though. And if they’re blown up they can assume it was Grian that time.

mumbo and grian introduced scar to jaffa cakes (they're these biscuit things we have in ireland and the uk) and now he's hooked, he loves them (i feel like he would idk why) ((he'd also def lick the chocolate off and peel the jelly out to save it till the end))

these are jaffa cakes btw:
