Engrossed: The retired footballer, 42, made the surprising revelation that he was a big fan of Mary Berry's Country House Secrets, which sees the culinary whiz tour the UK's greatest stately homes and whip up some traditional dishes
Beckham posted a snapshot of his Wednesday night viewing, captioned 'Loving Mary Berry's Country House Secrets'.
Somewhat out of character, the father-of-four completed the social media post with a sweet love heart.
Mary seemingly lost her composure when she found herself seated next to hunky David during her appearance The One Show earlier this montyh.
The former Great British Bake Off host cooed over the retired footballer when he revealed he loves to cook for his family – wife Victoria and children Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, 6.
Giddy: Earlier this month, Mary seemingly lost her composure when she found herself seated next to hunky David on The One Show
He said: 'I love cooking. I lived in Milan for about 11 months, and I had quite a relaxed schedule with the team so, in the afternoons, I used to go and take a culinary course for five months. The kids loved pasta.'
'Victoria's got jolly lucky, hasn't she?', Mary replied with a big grin.
Mary then revealed that her family were passionate about sport – much like David's own.

Viewers at home went wild for the TV segment, enthusing how sweet it was to see Mary flirting with David.
One fan joked, 'Just watched the One Show. Mary Berry there, eyeing up David Beckham like a lioness eyeing up a wildebeest', while another posted, 'Watching Mary Berry swoon over David beckham on the one show is absolute tv goals #theoneshow #whataman'.
So much in common: Mary revealed that her family were passionate about sport – much like David's own
A third posted: 'Watching Mary Berry swoon over David beckham on the one show is absolute tv goals #theoneshow #whataman'.
Another claimed David was the one doing all the flirting, sharing, 'The way David Beckham is looking at Mary Berry on the one show is too much Watch out @victoriabeckham'.
David was putting in an appearance on The One Show to discuss his role as an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
The star made a surprise visit to Kentish Town C of E Primary School in London to celebrate World Children’s Day.

During the visit, David met pupils aged between five and 11 from the student council to discuss the issues that affect them most such as their right to feel valued, listened to and respected.
The sporting legend then treated the children to an impromptu game of football in the playground of the North London school.
Kentish Town Primary School is a Level Two Rights Respecting School, an initiative run by Unicef UK which supports schools to place the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child at the heart of their ethos. It empowers pupils to realise their own rights and develop every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential.
David has been a long standing supporter of UNICEF since playing with Manchester United and became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2005. I
In 2015, his tenth year with Unicef, he launched 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund to help protect children in danger. David is working with Unicef to ensure that world leaders put children first and agree new development goals that will help end violence, preventable death and poverty for every child.
Slicked back: Beckham pulled his hair back in a low bun
In the hot seat: Emma interviewed David as part of UNICEFs world children’s day activities

I’m A Celebrity: Stanley Johnson has Ant & Dec in stitches
Rebekah Vardy may have been furious to be pulled out of the Bushtucker Trial, but at least Stanley Johnson's first attempt on I'm A Celebrity was worth the wait.
After being ruled out of every challenge so far for medical reasons, the task saw the politician, 77, throw balls into a nearby goal, while strapped to a wheel covered in critters – however he missed every single shot, leaving presenting duo Ant and Dec in stitches.
Stanley participated in the trial with Kezia Dugale instead of Rebekah, as she was pulled on medical grounds, for being too weak to perform.
Not the news she wanted to hear: Rebekah Vardy was furious to be pulled out of the Bushtucker Trial on Wednesday by Medic Bob, who found her blood pressure to be low on I'm A Celeb
It was the first time in the show's history that a constestant had to be pulled out before attempting the trial.
She said: 'I'm absolutely devastated that I couldn't do the trial with Stanley (Johnson). I feel like I let the team down this morning.'
The brave brunette had previously complained about feeling lethargic, and when checked over by Medic Bob, it was confirmed that her blood pressure was low.
It gave Kezia Dugdale the opportunity to step up for her first official Bushtucker Trial – but the camp were set for disappointment when she and Stanley could achieve only five out of 11 stars for camp.
Hilarious: Stanley Johnson's first attempt at a Bushtucker Trial was well worth the wait on Wednesday, as it left Ant and Dec in stitches
Oh dear: The task sees the politician, 77, throw a ball into a nearby goal, while strapped to a wheel covered in critters – however he misses every single shot, to the hilarity of the hosts
Former Conservative MEP Stanley was strapped to a large wheel covered with critters, and has to locate balls among the creepy crawlies to throw into a nearby goal.
However, throwing was not Stanley's strong point, as he proceeded to miss every single shot in the short time limit – to the delight of Ant and Dec.
After failing in his first few attempts, Ant quipped: 'It's like watching England play penalties,' at which Dec adds: 'No, its worse!'
Dynamic duo? Stanley participates in the Fear Factory trial with Kezia Dugdale (back) – who replaced the public-voted Rebekah Vardy after she was removed on medical grounds
Not good: Stanley has to locate balls among the crawlies to throw into a nearby goal – but it seems throwing is not his strong point, as he proceeds to miss every single shot in the time
Although he has less than half the time left, the politician refuses to rush his remaining attempts – with Dec joking: 'There's no sense of urgency is there!'
Despite the presenters' constant encouragement, Stanley still landed every shot far away from his target, causing the Geordie presenters to erupted into hysterical laughter as the clock runs out.
Aware of his mishap however, Stanley simply said in his usual witty style: 'This must be a world record of misses… it's not as easy as you might think!'
Much disappointment: The footballer's wife has proved to be very good at the trials
Starving: She was disappointed not to be able to take control when the camp faced nly five out of 11 meals
Not what they were expecting: Kezia was forced to step in and take on her first trial
To which Ant responded playfully: 'It's easier than you're making it look though!'
Stanley was voted to do the trial on Tuesday night – no doubt because it is the first challenge he has been medically approved to take part in.
However, the father of Boris Johnson did show promise when he competed in the live team trial on Monday, and wolfed down three witchetty grubs with ease.
Hilarious: The display leaves Ant & Dec in hysterics, with Ant quipping: 'It's like watching England play penalties,' to which Dec adds: 'No, its worse!'
Taking his time: Although he has less than half the time left, the politician refuses to rush his remaining attempts – with Dec joking: 'There's no sense of urgency is there!'
Hysterics: Despite the presenters' constant encouragement, Stanley still lands every shot far away from his target, causing the Geordie presenters to erupt into hysterical laughter
Standing his ground: Aware of his mishap however, Stanley simply says in his usual witty style: 'This must be a world record of misses… it's not as easy as you might think!'
Banter: To which Ant responds playfully: 'It's easier than you're making it look though!'
Man of the hour: The father of Boris Johnson did show promise when he competed in the live team trial on Monday (above), and wolfed down three witchetty grubs with ease
Pulled out: Stanley participated in the trial with Scottish MSP Kezia Dugdale, as Leicester City player Jamie Vardy's wife Becky (above) was pulled out on medical grounds last minute
Licking his lips, he declared: 'These are b****y nice. Delicious!', causing viewers to hail him a 'legend' on Twitter.
Stanley participated in the trial with Scottish MSP Kezia Dugdale, as Leicester City player Jamie Vardy's wife was pulled out on medical grounds last minute.
According to The Sun, Becky suffered a 'funny turn' after days of partaking in intense Bush Tucker trials, on next to no food.
Going too hard: According to The Sun, Becky suffered a 'funny turn' after days of partaking in intense Bush Tucker trials, on next to no food
Miffed: However, the mother-of-four was reportedly 'furious' with the decision, as she felt she was 'capable' of winning food for camp
However, the mother-of-four was reportedly 'furious' with the decision, as she felt she was 'capable' of winning food for camp.
An insider said: 'Becky felt a bit woozy, but felt she was perfectly capable of carrying on.'
Her spokesperson then told the paper: 'She's giving it her all on the show and felt she was letting her campmates down. She's tough and wouldn't want to be removed over feeling light headed.
'She's loving every minute and wants to keep pushing herself.'
Determined: Her spokesperson said: 'She's giving it her all on the show and felt she was letting her campmates down. She's tough and wouldn't want to be removed over feeling light headed'

Tamara Ecclestone has first girls’ night away from Sophia
She branded the first day her daughter Sophia went to nursery a 'tragedy' and admitted she had 'barely slept' out of worry.
And Tamara Ecclestone seemed equally distraught as she enjoyed her first night away from her beloved three-year-old daughter.
The 'nervous' billionaire Formula One heiress went for dinner with her friend Victoria, but threatened to leave after fretting over the youngster's cough – and timed the journey from her house to the restaurant in case she had to rush back.

Bag of nerves: Tamara Ecclestone seemed distraught as she enjoyed her first night away from her beloved three-year-old daughter Sophia
Talking about the milestone step, Tamara almost didn't leave the house as she worried over Sophia's cough, in scenes shown on her new ITVBe reality show Tamara's World.
'I'm so nervous,' she said tensely. 'She was coughing so much and I'm scared the cough is going to wake her up.'
The socialite, who admitted in the episode that she's a 'control freak,' ensured she went to Chinese restaurant Mr Chow's in Kensington so she could rush back to her £70million house if need be.
She explained, smiling guiltily 'I did time the journey to the restaurant so I know how long I have to get back.'
Tense times: The 'nervous' billionaire Formula One heiress went for dinner with her friend Victoria, but threatened to leave after fretting over the youngster's cough – and timed the journey from her house to the restaurant in case she had to rush back

Stressing: 'I'm so nervous,' she said tensely. 'She was coughing so much and I'm scared the cough is going to wake her up'
And her daughter was still on her mind when she got to the restaurant as she chatted away to Dubai-based Victoria.
She stopped conversation when her phone rang, looking fraught, as she answered it to hear the latest on Sophia.
Sounding tense, she nodded then dropped her shoulders with relief.
Taking a moment to regroup, she gushed to Victoria: 'She stopped coughing! Oh my God, I was so nervous! I'm literally shaking.'

Relief: Taking a moment to regroup, she gushed to Victoria: 'She stopped coughing! Oh my God, I was so nervous! I'm literally shaking'
Backlash: Viewers were left concerned by Tamara's emotional state, saying they 'felt sorry' for the socialite for not being able to leave her daughter alone for a night
Viewers were left concerned by Tamara's emotional state, saying they 'felt sorry' for the socialite for not being able to leave her daughter alone for a night.
'I feel sorry for Tamara in that she is unable to live her life, this is so difficult to watch,' one wrote.
'Her marriage does not appear healthy & her poor daughter needs children's company. not a good situation for any of the three.'
' "OMG Fifi coughed I’m so shocked" I really think this girl is as intelligent as a pea. Setting female empowerment back decades!' another added.
Self-aware: Tamara admitted on the show that she was 'psychotic' when it comes to caring for Sophia – and confessed husband Jay Rutland wants to spend more one-on-one time with just her
Trouble in paradise: 'I'm happy for me, Jay and Fifi to go for dinner, or to the park together but Jay prefers more one on one time' she said
Hmm: 'When Jay says he needs more alone time with me, I don't know whether he's just joking or if he's 100 per cent serious or if it's a mixture of both,' she said
Supportive: Other fans rushed to Tamara's defence, saying she is an 'absolutely amazing mother'
'Wow, its a night away from your child jesus its normal,' a third viewer penned in exasperation.

'When Jay says he needs more alone time with me, I don't know whether he's just joking or if he's 100 per cent serious or if it's a mixture of both,' she said.
Pampered: Tamara treated Sophia to a pedicure in the beauty salon in their home after inviting a team of beauticians to tend to them
Proud: She revealed she and Sophia also got matching 'sparkly' manicures during the pampering session
'I'm happy for me, Jay and Fifi to go for dinner, or to the park together but Jay prefers more one on one time.
'If I had a gun to Jay's head and asked if I was a better wife to you or better mum to Fifi I know he would say better mum to Fifi,' she added. 'When push comes to shove he's actually not that selfish.'
She added that one of the 'only things' they argue about is whether to have a second child – something Tamara is against.
'He really wants one and I really dont want one. I feel guilty to Fifi, that she won't have all my love,' she said.
'I feel like Fifi was born to be an only child. I know Jay wants more kids. Fifi and I don't want more right now.
Oh dear: During their pampering session, Tamara also revealed she helps Sophia to defecate. Her daughter came up to her, asking if she could go to the toilet
Hands on mum: Sophia asked: 'Can I go alone?' and Tamara said: 'OK, are you sure? With a wee, it's fine, it's just the poos are tricky'
'Jay said it's so nice for them to have a sibling and a best friend but they may hate each other, there's no guarantees.'
Tamara previously came under fire for 'spoiling' daughter Sophia, who has her own ice palace, personal butler and only travels by private jet.
But Tamara brushed off the critics as she treated her three-year-old tot to a pampering session at the beauty salon inside her home.
Celebrations: Elsewhere in the show, Tamara threw a pyjama party for her and six of her closest friends – including her stylist, hairdresser, make-up artist and sister Petra
Pampered: She ensured all the guests had personally tailored pyjamas, and had cocktails sorted out for their arrival – including peach bellinis, expresso martinis and pineapple and Malibu for Petra
Decadent: Tamara's three-tier cake featured pyjama decorations and a fluffy mule on the top
The heiress invited a team of beauticians to give her and the youngster matching sparkly manicures and pedicures.
Speaking about her beauty salon, Tamara admitted that it was 'kind of a waste of space' as she barely used it.

Think pink: The party featured a dining table covered in black leatherette, a three-tier 'pyjama' cake, pink champagne truffles and sleeping masks for each diner

'For her dad's 85th birthday at the house, we threw him a party. I came home from work the house had been transformed into a Swiss chalet. She definitely doesn't do things by halves.'

Base Body Babes share built fitness empire health secrets
When they arrived on the health, fitness and well-being scene around five years ago, the Base Body Babes would never have expected to be where they are now.
The Sydney-based personal trainer sisters have swiftly amassed more than half a million Instagram followers – and boast a fitness empire to rival the best in the business.
Felicia Oreb and Diana Johnson sat down with FEMAIL to talk about how they reached the top of a super-competitive industry – as well as their tips for your health and fitness goals.
Their number one tip is to back off the cardio.
Sydney-based personal trainer sisters, the Base Body Babes (pictured) have amassed more than half a million Instagram followers – and a fitness empire to rival the best in the business
Felicia Oreb and Diana Johnson (pictured right) sat down with FEMAIL to talk about how they reached the top of a super-competitive industry – as well as their tips for your health goals
The girls are huge believers in weight training (pictured at Bondi) and eschew typical forms of cardio such as running, which they don't see as beneficial for the body
According to the girls, the key to building a successful career – whether it's in fitness or another sphere – is to discover what you're passionate about:
'Find your niche, specialise and master your business,' the pair told Daily Mail Australia.
The Base Body Babes discovered this niche in late 2010, when Felicia gave birth to her daughter and they decided to set up a personal training course for her and other mums to get back in shape.
Before they knew it, the business took off – and others wanted training. Base Body Babes was born from this, and these days, the girls – who are just 15 months apart in age – live by what they promote:
'Lift weights, be active, fuel your body with wholesome and nutritious foods, stay hydrated with water and sleep well (we aim for a minimum of eight hours),' they told FEMAIL.
'Lift weights, be active, fuel your body with wholesome and nutritious foods, stay hydrated with water and sleep well (we aim for a minimum of eight hours),' they told FEMAIL
Speaking about their business tips, the sisters said: 'Find your niche, specialise and master your business'
They said that they train 4-6 days per week in the gym with weights, and alternate between weights and circuit days
'We train 4-6 days per week, we train in the gym and we train with weights,' they explained.
'Our training is solely based around weight training. We do not believe the more traditional forms of cardio like 'jogging' are beneficial for the type of body or level of fitness or strength we are after.
'Most people use the traditional types of cardio like jogging and long-distance running, because they believe it's the best way to lose fat, get fit and get a cardiovascular response.
'However, what many people don't realise is that all of this can be easily attained through a well-designed weights workout.'
They unite this with a super-healthy diet that features a big breakfast of two or three boiled or scrambled eggs with gluten-free toast, spinach, cherry tomatoes and sauerkraut
They are firm believers in the idea that everyone should make the time to work out, work hard and then rest well (they both aim for eight hours sleep each night)
So just how do the Base Body Babes work out?
'We believe that for a beautiful lean and toned body, you need to combine strength and circuit days,' they explained.
'On our strength days, we lift heavy weights and keep the rep range low so as to maintain the intensity for the whole session,' they explained.
'On circuit days, we typically perform higher reps – 10-20 reps – and do several exercises back-to-back with no rest within the circuit. This is enough to get our bodies into the "cardio zone".'
The Base Body Babes' day on a plate
* BREAKFAST: Two to three boiled or scrambled eggs, with two slices of gluten-free toast with organic butter, a side of fresh baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and sauerkraut.
* LUNCH: Protein such as organic chicken, fish or red meat with vegetables.
* DINNER: Another form of protein with vegetables.
* SNACKS: Protein-packed smoothies, nuts, berries, rice cakes with peanut butter, dark chocolate, corn chips and fresh fruit.
The sisters match this with a well-balanced diet. Speaking about their day on a plate, the girls explained:
'We are quite particular about the foods we put into our bodies. We personally avoid gluten, refined sugar and keep dairy to a minimum,' they said.
'We also ensure we have a component of protein with every meal.'
A typical day of meals might be 'two to three boiled or scrambled eggs, with two slices of gluten-free toast with organic butter, a side of fresh baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and sauerkraut in the morning'.
Then, at lunch it's likely to be a 'combination of some protein and fresh veggies – we love organic chicken, fish and red meat',' they said.
Dinner will be the same, but perhaps a different protein.
'We often snack throughout the day with either a protein-packed smoothie with Bare Blends Whey Protein Isolate or nuts and berries,' they added.
They also said they enjoy rice cakes, with honey, fruit, corn chips and dark chocolate occasionally.
Speaking about their health tips for time-poor women, the Base Body Babes explained the main thing you need to do is 'get organised'
'Consider going to a gym that's close to work during your lunch break or pack all your healthy ingredients to prepare a healthy breakfast at work,' they said
Speaking about their health tips for time-poor women, the Base Body Babes explained the main thing you need to do is 'get organised':
'Schedule and organise your training as you would a regular work meeting,' they said.
'Consider going to a gym that's close to work during your lunch break or pack all your healthy ingredients to prepare a healthy breakfast at work.'
Lastly, they said it's all about keeping things simple – whether that's your workout or beauty regime:
'We have recently been introduced to the Braun Silk-epil 9 SkinSpa and are loving the results so far,' they said.
'Fuel your body with the right wholesome foods, work out with weights, rest well and be consistent.'
The Base Body Babes can be followed on Instagram here. They have also been recently introduced as ambassadors for Braun – the Braun Power Players.
