For the artist applications, is it alright if we put our samples in a google drive folder and link that??? I read through the rules but idk if I missed it and just wanted to know ajdndnfn

Um this is a little embarrassing because I'm never sure how people outside that community feel about them... But I'm applying to be a writer right now, but usually, I write x reader pieces. I've had people before say they would rather not I submit those for examples (which I understand) but I guess I just wanted to ask before I submitted my application! There's plenty of time for me to write something other than that, after all.

All writing is a good example. If you would like to apply and you intend to write an Owain/Odin x reader fic then by all means submit some as your work examples! I highly encourage you submit what you’re most proud of and what’s most stylistically what you intend to write for the zine if you’re accepted.

In the application form where it asks if you would be willing to contribute merch, does that mean are we willing to send out merch that we make or that are we willing to let our art be used to make merch? Hopefully I worded this correctly lol

By saying you are willing to make merch for the zine, you are agreeing to draw a design for a sticker, charm, print, etc. The profits of the zine will be used to actually produce the merch, and the zine will be in charge of distribution and sales. Artists who contribute merch designs will receive a copy of what they make free of charge.

hi! I've read in the info doc that writers will be paired with illustrators. Is it possible for a writer and illustrator apply in a pair? How would such an application be assessed?

The writers and artists will be considered individually. However, when you apply, I would recommend that you mention that if you are both accepted you would prefer to be paired with _____. Thank you for your interest!
