In your "Strains of Blood" story, demons are wandering souls that don't have a body, that is, a possession, but that exactly causes "demons" to become in addition to a soul weakness and blockage of their magical energy. How does this system works?

It’s now called Fae: Verity now :3

Well soul weakness is something you are born with. Some people are unable to do magic at all due to the health risks it would pose.

If you were to overuse magic, you won’t have enough soul to produce an aura to keep the wandering souls from body snatching you - that’s what causes demonization or even death.

Blockages in magic are usually mental. Like you may not have the full array of your abilities due to trauma. There is a main character with this but I can’t say anymore without spoilers
