      alice isn’t  entirely sure whether the collision with       the girl had been her fault or the others. it didn't       matter, she supposed. apologizing is polite, and Alice       is a well-mannered girl. besides, she’s always been       prone to daydreaming, thus making her rather clumsy       at times.

She paused for a moment, glancingup to address the voice that had spokento her with a haughty huff. Of course sheknew what she was doing. She was 100% sure of what she was doing. She’d never been so positive aboutsomething in her life.

Okay, so perhaps she really wasn’t sure what she was doing.But her pride was too large forher to even admit that, at leastfor the time being.
