Ben nodded his head softly listening to him. âHe did? Heâs been so worried about my mom⌠we all have⌠but there is nothing bad about being compelledâŚitâs not going to harm you..â Ben assured her. He frowned at her objection to entering the house before he moved forward. Benjamin listened to the female and folded his arms over his chest as he listened to her explanation. He watched her actions and listened to her final words before he spoke. âDo you know where you wereâŚanything⌠If you donât want to go in thatâs fineâŚbut I need to talk to you..we can go somewhere else⌠wherever you are comfortable..â Ben tried to assure her.Â
"I know it won't," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "I got out and it was like..a cabin in the woods." She sighed, slightly irritated but she understood where he was coming from. "I told you everything I know. What else could there possibly be to discuss? I'm so sorry about your mom and maybe if they haven't put that spell on me, he'd have probably found her sooner. I am so incredibly sorry."

Ben looked to the female as she approached him. He moved closer to her and heard her say she had nothing to do with it but that she didnât care what happened to her. Benjamin moved a stray hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. âWhere is she⌠What happened⌠Is she okayâŚare you okay⌠Itâs been  daysâŚâ Ben admitted with a frown. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked to her.Â
Ben had to admit he was relieved to have seen the girl and know that physically she was more or less okay. However he still worried for his mother and any information that could help him or his father find his mother would be great. The last proper encounter with his mother - Ben had said things that had come across with different intentions. He didnât want them arguing to be one of the last things he did with his mother.Â
Benâs attention went back to the female and he moved to wrap an arm around Brianna before pushing her gently towards the house. âCâmon⌠lets get you inside⌠tell me everything you know⌠pleaseâŚâ Ben asked softlyÂ
"I don't know. They put a spell on me to make me forget...but your Dad compelled me so.." she shrugged her shoulders then shook her head. "I'm not going in. I don't want to go in there." She sighed, taking a step back. "I was walking, they drugged me and I woke up underground somewhere. They wanted me to text your mom and I told them no and they knocked me out and I guess they texted her themselves from my phone because when I came to, your mom was there. I would never do something that would bring harm to her." Her voice was raising an octave before she threw her hands over her face then removed them. "Believe me, don't believe me. I just..really don't care right now."

Coming back and getting the phone call from Benjamin, Brianna had already been somewhat threatened by one Mikaelson and was she prepared for the possible barrage of them from Ben? Not entirely. Mustering up the courage, Brianna went over to Ben's and bit her lower lip as she approached him. She felt like this situation would force her to tell him the entire truth and that didnt sit well with her. "I didnt do anything to your mom. I had nothing to do with it. Threaten me, kill me. I don't really care." She didnt mean to come off as rude or blunt, but in that moment, it was exactly how she felt.

Even since his father had told him his mother had disappeared, Benjamin had been frantic about his mother. To know the all signed lead to the fact that the woman he was in love with had a part in taking his mother made him even more concerned. He picked up his phone and dialled Briannaâs number only to find it being a voice mail. âBrianna, Where are youâŚMy father said you spoke to my mother the other day and no one has seen my mom since⌠Is everything okay? Can you ring me when you get this please? I need to know what happened⌠where my mom isâŚwhere you are..â Benjamin stated down the microphone - his voice full of panic.Â

Elijah looked into the girls eyes, as his pupils dilated as he spoke. âWhomever made you forget Brianna, I need you to drag the memories, the things you witnessed out of your subconscious and tell me where they took you, where they are holding my wife.â He truly hoped it would give him some information, something, some way to find his wife before it was too late.
Brianna wracked her brain trying to remember everything that happened. "I um..I woke up chained and they told me to text Hayley, but I told them no, and they..." she mumbled and shrugged her shoulders, mostly retracing her own steps rather than speaking to Elijah. "When they let me out, I noticed it was a cabin in the woods. Where they kept us was underground.." Her voice trailed off and she looked down, "I didn't want to leave her. She..she helped me and I wanted to help her." Her voice was shaky; if anything happened to his wife, it was on her. "I'm sorry."

Elijah watched her facial expressions and sighed. âBrianna do you have anything on you that contains vervain? I suggest you take it off.â Elijah was going to assume they hadnât had her ingest it while she was captive, so if he had to compel her to remember then he would. All that mattered to him in the moment was finding his wife, and bringing her home safe and sound.
The brunette nodded her head at his question. Hayley told her to never be without it but right now, this was more important. If anything happened to Hayley, it was on her. She quickly took off her necklace and she let out a deep breath that she was holding and swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat. "Ok.." Her voice trailed off.

âNo the name is Elijah.â He countered to her comment wanting her to at least remember his name, remember who she cowered in fear too had she not provided him with what he wanted. âGood and then I surmise you know my wife, Hayley. I wonât beat around the bush and simply ask where the hell is she? You were in trouble texted her such, and I havenât seen my wife in three god damn days. Sorry if I am in a mood, but Iâd quite like to see my wife.â He said there was venom in his tone, he was bitter, and angry, worried, he just was a man that wanted his wife back. It wasnât supposed to of been this way, he refused to let it end this way.
"Yes sir. I know that." She was unsure of what was going on? Was Ben hurt? Had something else happened? She could tell Elijah was angry but where this anger was coming from was completely beyond her. "Yeah. I know Hayley." Listening to him, her facial expressions went from one of curiosity to concern then suddenly panic. Not just because Hayley said she'd keep her safe, but because Brianna was genuinely concerned for the other's wellbeing. She shook her head, "I honestly have no idea where she is. I didn't text her, sir." She fumbled around for her phone but came up empty. "I have no idea where your wife is."

Elijah almost did a double take the moment he saw her walking in the street and in a moment he had her arm and dragged her down an alley way. âI trust you know who I am? If so, I do hope you have heard the stories about me, In the moment I will tell you they are all true.â He wanted her to believe he was the monster, the monster that would do anything kill anyone that stood between him, his wife and children. @ofbriannas
Walking in the street, Brianna was caught completely off guard when she was dragged down an alley way. "Jesus.." Seeing Elijah, her voice trailed off. Listening to him, she raised an eyebrow in utter confusion. "You're Benjamin's dad. Of course I know." She had no idea where he was going but in the moment she was completely terrified. She wasn't sure what to say but she figured it best to keep her mouth shut.

Her hands hit against the invisible barrier, letting out a growl at the fact that sheâd found herself trapped. The brunette was just about to ask Brianna if she had played a role in this entire ordeal when the sound of apologies filled her ear and she found herself emitting a sigh. Had the girl gotten herself into this situation? Yes, but she hadnât known what was going to happen nor had she intended for either of them to end up in their current predicament. âApologizing isnât going to fix anything. And what you donât know⌠Itâs not going to help either.â She replied with a slight shake of her head, a sigh escaping her lips. As long as she was confined within this circle, there was nothing that she could do, but so help whomever was responsible should she be freed. âAside from being pissed off? Iâm fine.â Hayley murmured with a roll of her eyes, her hazel hues scanning around the dark basement. No one would ever look at this run down cabin from afar and think it had a hidden basement. And the cellar floor-door was well designed because no one would notice it without some serious searching. âAre you okay?âÂ
âEnough talking. Switch her out.â An unfamiliar voice mused before she could feel a magical hold around her heart within her chest, almost like the times witches had tried to extract the organ magically before. âMove and Iâll rip it out.â The voice sounded again, causing the hybrid to still as her jaw clenched and her gaze moved over to glance at Bri. Within the span of two minutes, the magical barrier had been removed, but she was quickly chained to the wall with vervain chains a mere few inches from the human and the magical hold on her heart was released. Her slender frame slumped to the ground, a huff escaping her lips as she saw the bloodstain on her shirt from where theyâd had her heart in their magical grasp. She was careful not to move for the shackles around her ankles and wrists would cause discomfort, but that didnât stop her from looking around the room to find whatever they were using to magically bind her. However, despite all her looking around, Hayley had no luck in figuring it out. There was nothing that stood out to her as being the magical object that was keeping her from yanking the chains from the wall.Â
It was now Wednesday and they were nearing the three day mark of their captivity, but it surely felt a lot longer than three days. In the time span that theyâd been held hostage, the three witches that had been keeping them had deprived the hybrid of blood and had only given her a drop every so often just to ensure she remained alive. She was starving and weak. It was torture, but as if that werenât enough, theyâd taken the liberty of messing with her mind by magically making her relive some of the darkest and worst moments of her life â the incident with Elijah whilst he was under the Sirens control, her adoptive parents kicking her out, Klaus having her cursed to wolf form, the day her parents had died, losing all the Mikaelsonâs in one day because of Marcel, sending Hope away, the day of her death, when sheâd lost her child with Elijah and so on. It was the first time sheâd even remembered what had happened with her biological parents, but it had surely inflicted serious pain as did they all. If their goal was to break her, they were slowly winning. âDonât⌠Save your energy and just â hope that they arenât keeping you here for snack purposes.â Hayley managed to get out in a dry whisper, burying her face in her arm as she felt hunger pains ripple through her slender form.
having to listen as they essentially tortured hayley, brianna could only feel herself growing angrier. she knew the other was not very pleased with her, and she was determined to somehow find a way to help her. brianna bit her lower lip, she wanted to offer hayley her arm to feed off of but a part of her was nervous that maybe if whoever took them knew, they could potentiallly bring more harm to the both of them and that was the last thing bri wanted, especially to hayley. "you can feed off me if you need to.." she offered, her throat dry. she wasn't sure if she was even saying the right thing, but she knew that she needed to help the woman next to her in some way.
everytime the woman heard the door swing open, her stomach knotted up. she was never sure what they would do next and that terrified her. everything will be fine, we'll get out and everything will be okay, had become a mantra for her the past couple days. She was becoming antsy. hearing the door, one of the guys pulled her up, undoing her chains. 'today is your lucky day. we're letting you out." you. it was singular, not plural. brianna cast a glance in Hayley's direction and it said it all. brianna didn't want to leave her, but perhaps she could use this chance to get help hayley. before she could actually flee, as if he knew what she was thinking, and cast a spell to make her forget before sending her on her way.

When the brunette had come to learn who Brianna was in relatively to her eldest son and the predicament she found herself in when it came to how she was alive, she promised to keep the other girl safe for the mere reason of ensuring her son remained happy. Regardless of whether Benjamin and his former flame reunited or not, her being alive was enough to keep him happy and she wanted to ensure said happiness remained in tact. And thatâs precisely why when sheâd received a text from the human about needing help, she didnât waste a moment in leaving work to ensure her promise was kept. Hayley followed the message that had been from Briâs phone, finding herself at a run down cabin tucked away in the woods on the outskirts out town. It was so close to the town limits line and honestly wasnât even somewhere sheâd ever even noticed before, which was strange given how often sheâd roamed the town. She quietly pushed open the door, noticing how dingy and dusty the place was. It hadnât taken her long to pick up on the other girlâs scent, which confirmed that she was in fact there. After glancing around the first floor, she noticed a cellar-like door in the floor and found a set of steps beneath it once sheâd opened it. Her slender frame carefully went down the steps until sheâd reached what she assumed to be a basement of sorts and thatâs when sheâd caught sight of an unconscious girl. âBri!â She called out before using her vampire speed to race over to the figure, only to find herself trapped within an invisible barrier just a mere foot away from the other.Â
coming to, bri groaned. hearing hayley's voice, the brunette jumped. it dawned on her and as much as she tried she couldn't keep the tears from falling. "i'm sorry. i'm really sorry, hayley. you can't be here." she said, her voice riddled with panic. "i don't..i don't know how i got here. i felt...i felt something in my neck and i woke up here. i.." she shrugged her shoulders. despite being chained, she made her way over to hayley as closely as she could, which wasn't very far from her current position. "are you okay?"
it had been days but the days felt a lot longer than that. she wasn't sure who these people were or what they wanted but more importantly, she was angry. angry at herself for being so naive, and angry at whoever took her for luring hayley here. she didn't understand how all of the supernatural stuff worked but right now, she was determined to figure it out. "i know i'm not much, but i'm gonna find a way out, i promise." she said softly.

walking through mystic falls alone was something the brunette knew better than to do. at least for right now. she got the feeling that someone was following her, but paid no mind to it. against better judgement. mystic falls was a safe town, right? it wasn't until she was pushed against a building that that theory was disproven. the brunette tried to fight the person off but their strength was no match for her, and she felt a prick to her neck and was subdued. coming to, she looked around immediately trying to find someway to get out, snapping out of her thoughts when her phone was thrown to her. âtext hayley. get her hereâ brianna couldn't make out the voice, let alone the face as her eyes tried to adjust. her head was throbbing and she brought her hand up noticing the chains. hering the voice again, she frowned, shaking her head. "i'm not doing that." she spat out. he looked at her angrily and before she could even utter the word no, a fist collided with her temple, and before her world went dark and he typed away on her phone, she only hoped that hayley would not come for her.

"beckett, right?" she asked, smiling. "the food is good. i think i've had like 6 corn dogs already." she broke off a piece of her funnel cake and held it to him, "have a funnel cake," she said with a small smile. "i don't mean to pry but if you aren't really into carnivals, why are you here?"
