Brayden Michael Gatina || 18 || FC: Tanner Buchanan

THE BACKSTORY: 

Michael Gatina is the life of the party. He’s here for a good time, not necessarily a long time. After all, you only live once, right? Though he has a lot of friends and is pretty well-liked around Tree Hill, Michael’s inner circle is very, very small. If you’re lucky enough to be part of it, there isn’t much Michael won’t do for you. Others, not so much.

In high school, Michael was the captain of the basketball team and the leading scorer - he was two points shy of beating Jamie Scott’s record. It sucked that he couldn’t break the record, but he recognized talent when he saw it - game recognizes game - and he was okay with it.

School was meant for socializing and not studying, Michael wasn’t too keen on the work part of school. He managed to do enough to stay on the basketball team, but that was about it. Currently, Michael attends Tree Hill University on a basketball scholarship. He has no idea what he wants to do with the rest of his life and he’s okay with that for now. College is a whole new world of opportunities, who knows where the wind might blow.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Blair Dupre: He's had a crush on Blair for as long as he can remember, but he's never acted on it because he doesn't want to hurt their friendship. Addison Evans: Addison takes most of Michael's pictures for any of his modeling shoots. Aaron & Allan Scott: Michael's closest friends are the Scott cousins. They've been inseparable since middle school. ​ Emmerson Gatina: He's only recently found out that he has a sister and he's really confused by it all. Sure Rachel has never been the perfect mother, but she's always gone above and beyond for him. He never imagined that she'd hide something like this from him.

THE BACKSTORY: 

If it weren’t for her looks and her incredible eye for fashion, it would be difficult to tell that Rebekah Baker and Brooke Davis were even related. Bekah is the introvert of the family and she honestly prefers it that way. This isn’t to say that she’s not social, she just doesn’t necessarily have a lot to say. She takes after Julian in that she loves school and is a little bit of a nerd - something only her closest friends and family would even know about. She’s had perfect grades since kindergarten - nothing lower than an A-, and graduated valedictorian of her class with highest honors.  She loves reading, so much so that she has a mini library in her bedroom at home, and movies - much like her father. 

Bekah often helps her mother in the stores, doing whatever needs to be done. She isn’t a great pencil-to-paper artist, but she’s decent with the right programs on her iPad and always carries it around - after all, you never know when inspiration might strike. She’s chosen to stay in Tree Hill for now while she tries to figure out just what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Fashion seems like the obvious choice, but she also thinks interior design would be a good way to go. 

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Davis & Jude Baker: Bekah loves her brothers and would do anything for them.

  Addison Evans & Ellery Kate McFadden:  Best friends; they often rotate houses on Friday nights for sleepovers.

  Allan Scott: Outside of Addie and Ella, Allan is her next closest friend. They're kind of in an on-again-off-again dating cycle, but even when they break up they still can't not talk to the other.

THE BACKSTORY: 

At the age of 5 years old, Aaron was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy - the same heart condition that his Uncle Lucas developed. While Aaron’s overall prognosis was fine, he would never be able to play sports like the rest of his family. It sucked and he didn’t understand it at first, but it got easier as he got older. Aaron supported his siblings and friends at their games and was definitely loudest one cheering. He kept the stats for basketball games and sometimes he’d help Mary Anna McFadden do commentary on her podcasts. He also took an interest in music. When he couldn’t play basketball, he decided that he wanted to try his hand at the guitar - something that his mom was eager to teach him. He got really good at guitar, but it was really just a hobby for him. He enjoyed learning his favorite songs and putting his own spin on them. If he thought one was good enough, he’d post it to his socials - but there weren’t many that were shared there. Aaron also dabbles in modeling.

Since graduating from Tree Hill High, Aaron is enrolled at Tree Hill University. Much like his mother and Uncle Lucas, Aaron enjoys school. He’s currently studying math and hopes to be a teacher one day.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

 Jamie Scott: Aaron's relationship with his brother has always been a little strained, but not for any reason in particular; he really doesn't know why. Lydia Scott: Aaron is closer to Lydia than Jamie. He's always found her easier to talk to. ​ Mary Anna McFadden: Aaron is frequently helps out with the Voice of Ravens podcast. Ella Kate McFadden: Crush, best friend.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Keith Allan Scott, named after his father’s beloved uncle, is the youngest son to Lucas and Peyton.  From the moment he was born, his name was never a question - both Lucas and Peyton agreed that it was fitting. He has his father’s face and brooding tendencies but has more in common with his mother. His music taste is as eclectic as it comes (yes, his parents are very proud) and he has a playlist for every occasion.

People would say that Allan is very well-rounded, but he honestly just has a lot of interests. He played basketball because he loved the game, much like his father did in high school. You could also find Allan at Red Bedroom Records, Karen’s Cafe, or Baker Man at any given day during the week - just depending on who needed the most help on that day.  Allan is also a very talented artist, something that not many people know about him. He prefers old school paper and pencil drawing, but he understands the value of digital art as well.

During his senior year, Allan received several offers to attend highly rated art schools. Ultimately though, he chose to stay in Tree Hill for college. People keep telling him that he’ll probably regret that decision someday, but he doesn’t understand how - not when all of his people are in Tree Hill.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Finding Addison Evans without a camera in her hand could possibly make a gambler very rich; she doesn’t go anywhere without her trusty 35mm camera. She has a nicer, modern camera that she loves as well but it’s just something about film.  In high school, Addison was one of the main photographers on the yearbook staff and frequently helps her mom with photoshoots. She also takes most of her brother Logan’s photos.

When Addison graduated, she opted to not go to college and pick up photography full time. She already had a pretty steady stream of clients because of the work that she had already been doing with her mom. In fact, she and Quinn have recently decided to go into business together.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Kayden Catalano: Boyfriend / best friend ​ Bekah Baker & Ella Kate McFadden: Addison's two best friends. They have weekly sleepovers, something they've done since kindergarten. Aaron Scott: Addison and Aaron are close friends. She often uses him as her model to test out new camera shots.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Ellery Kate is the youngest daughter to Millie and Mouth. She loves all things fashion and has been putting together outfits since before she learned how to really draw. She has worked at Baker Man for as long as she can remember, doing whatever Brooke asked of her. It was a bit monotonous at times, but Ellery understood that she needed to start at the bottom to work her way up; she was committed to that.  

Currently, Ellery is attending the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah Georgia, working toward her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Marketing and Management. She knows that she doesn’t have to have a college degree to succeed in her career, but she was not about to pass up an opportunity to go to SCAD.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Mary Anna McFadden: Ellery and Mary Anna are polar opposites, but they get along fairly well.

Addison Evans & Bekah Baker: Best friends ​ ​Aaron Scott: She and Aaron have a lot in common. Truthfully, Ellery didn't go to SCAD traditionally because she didn't want to leave him. He'd never let her live it down if he knew that.

THE BACKSTORY

Mary Anna McFadden is essentially her dad in girl form. She’s well-liked among her peers and very shy until people get to know her. English is her favorite subject, especially writing. There isn’t a sport that Mary Anna doesn’t love. In high school, she ran a podcast called Voice of Ravens where she and her friends take turn doing commentary for the different sporting events on campus. She also talks about sports in general, just depending on what games are on throughout the week. She plans to keep this going even after she graduates because she’s accumulated quite the following.

Mary Anna currently attends Tree Hill University. She had other options, but she chose to stay close to home. She’s recently changed her major from English to Journalism in hopes of being a sports columnist.

RELATIONSHIPS

Davis Baker:  Davis is one of the few people Mary Anna feels comfortable around. He gets on her nerves at times, forcing her out of her comfort zone, but she knows he means well.

Lydia Scott: Best Friend

Ellery McFadden: Though they are very different, Mary Anna and Ellery are pretty close.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Most people would say that Jude Baker is pretty close to what his mother was like in high school, in terms of social status. He was class president, co-captain of the Ravens basketball team, and had great grades. He was popular too, but that didn’t really matter to him at all. He just wanted to be the best version of himself that he could be.

In high school, Jude was the starting pitcher for the Raven’s baseball and basketball teams. He mostly played basketball because his friends did. He was decent at it, but it just didn’t have his heart like baseball did.  He was also part of the school’s media team, in charge of keeping everything on their website and social media platforms up to date. Jude knew a good bit about designing websites and was pretty tech savvy in general, but his heart was behind the camera. He was often tasked with putting videos together for different clubs, organizations, and teams during the school year - and he really loved it.

Currently, Jude is in his sophomore year at Louisiana State University where he is studying Film and Television with minors in Graphic Design and Math. His dream would be to break into the film industry like his dad, but Jude wants to do it on his own, preferably without any help.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Davis Baker is essentially the male equivalent of what his mother was in high school, just with better grades. School came exceptionally easy to Davis, something that his siblings are jealous of. He was the co-captain of the basketball team and the leading scorer for his high school class. If a party is happening, Davis will be there - no matter who’s throwing it. Unlike Brooke, Davis didn’t really mind school. He didn’t love it but he didn’t hate it either; he was indifferent. He was easily in the top 10 of his class without even trying and that was good enough for him - he didn’t care to be any higher.

Currently, Davis is about to finish up his freshman year at Tree Hill University, where he’s playing basketball. He’s been taking generic classes so far and has good grades. He’s just not really sure what the future holds and it kinda terrifies him to think about it….so he doesn’t.

Being the middle child and only daughter to a former NBA basketball playing father and a Grammy nominated singer slash songwriter for a mother leaves miss Lydia Scott with some pretty big shoes to fill - and that’s not including the currently playing for the NBA older brother. She is a daddy’s girl through and through and has had Nathan Scott wrapped around finger from the moment she was born.

Lydia is the perfect combination of both parents: intelligent, witty, and musically inclined like her mother and popular, independent, and athletic like her father. In high school, Lydia was co-captain of the cheerleading squad for three of the four years that she was there and was also her class valedictorian. Currently, Lydia is a freshman in college and helps her mother run the cafe. She is constantly changing her major because she can’t decide on one. It’s just the rest of your life right? No pressure.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Jude Baker: Jude and Lydia have been inseparable since kindergarten. They've never really been more than friends, even though they've flirted with the line throughout the years. Lydia knows that she has feelings for Jude and she's pretty sure that he feels the same way, but she doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize their friendship.

Jamie & Aaron Scott: Lydia considers herself to be equally close with both of her brothers. She often acts as a mediator between the two of them. She doesn't understand why it's so difficult for them to interact. It's frustrating at times, but it's all she's ever known; she's pretty used to it by now.

Lily Scott: Lydia loves that Lily is finally in Tree Hill for a while. They've always been close and shes' excited to spend more time with Lily.

THE BACKSTORY:

Dennis Daniels is the only child of Jack Daniels and Sam Walker. He’s heard all of the stories of how terrible his parents lives were as kids and is grateful that it didn’t happen to him. If anything, his parents probably go overboard to ensure that Dennis never went without something.

For a family to be as wealthy as they are, you’d really never know it by the way that the Daniels’ family carried themselves. Dennis didn’t care about nice clothes or bags or anything like that; he was just himself. If Dennis could describe school in one word, it would be ‘meh’. The kid was beyond brilliant - number one in his class since 3rd grade when he moved back to Tree Hill - but he didn’t put much weight in those kinds of things anyway. Dennis is very present and interactive with people. He’s does a pretty good job of making people smile with his witty and dry, typically sarcastic, sense of humor.

Since graduation, Dennis has been at a standstill. He had quite a few offers from different schools and the financial ability to pretty much go wherever he wanted, but he’s just not quite sure what the rest of his life looks like and he’s having a hard time figuring that out.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Until the age of 10, Kayden was raised on a tour bus. His mother, Mia’s music career was at an all time high when he was born. For a long time he felt like maybe he wasn’t supposed to be here. Watching how his mom struggled to balance music and caring for him was difficult, but she never made him feel like anything less than.

At ten years old, Kayden and his mom finally settled back in Tree Hill. Mia told him stories about the town and he was excited at the prospect of staying in one place for more than a few weeks at a time. She promised him that she wouldn’t do any more major touring until he graduated and she kept her promise.

Kayden is the kind of guy that everyone loves. He’s very sociable, never meets a stranger, and will go out of his way just to make a person smile. He never wanted anyone to feel left out and would go to great lengths to include as many people as he could in whatever it was that was going on.

College was never in Kayden’s plans, he just didn’t want to go. So when he graduated, Kayden went right to work. He’s held several odd jobs for the last few years but now that he’s finally twenty-one, Kayden is learning the ropes of bar tending at Tric.

Raylee Keller is the oldest child to Chris Keller and Tara Richards; though Raylee wouldn’t know who the woman was if she was standing in front of her. The only good thing the woman ever didi for Raylee was have her. Chris Keller surprised the world when he chose to raise Raylee on his own and the father-daughter duo has essentially been inseparable ever since. Raylee loves music, like her father, and has been playing guitar since she was 8. She taught herself to play piano as well, but she prefers the guitar to piano. Though music was her first love, it wasn’t her only love. Raylee also had been tumbling since she was 4.

Raylee spent the majority of her life in Tree Hill. Sure, her father released music but he didn’t do any big tours while Raylee was young. She was the head cheerleader for two of the four years that she was in high school and received awards in various gymnastics competitions as well. School was never that important to Raylee, but she knew that she had to keep her grades up in order to cheer and compete. All that hard work paid off though because she currently attends the University of Florida on a scholarship for gymnastics.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Dennis Daniels: There's something about him that Raylee really likes. He's not the kind of guy that she would typically go for, but there's a first time for everything. 

Lydia Scott: Raylee was a little jealous of Lydia at first justbecause of how much time she would spend with Dennis. She quickly realized that she doesn't have anything to worry about, especially once she noticed how Lydia gravitates toward Jude Baker. 

Blair Dupre: Best friends; Raylee and Blair are often at Red Bedroom Records working on new stuff.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Blair Dupre is the youngest and only child of actress and musician Alex Dupre.  She was born after a difficult time in her mother’s life, right after her music career began to blow up. She spent most of her childhood traveling the to various places in the world with her mother on tour. When Blair was 10, she and her mother moved back to Tree Hill so that Alex could work on her new album in the same place that inspired her before. Blair was intrigued by Tree Hill and she was a little disappointed upon discovering that it was just another place. She eventually grew to realize that the town was unlike any other place she had ever been to. The people in the town quickly became her family.

During high school, Blair could often be found engrossed in her laptop. School just wasn’t something she cared about. She would much rather be editing videos and playing around with beats on her computer than listening to her teacher babble on and on about English. She graduated and that was enough for her. Since then, Blair has been working at Red Bedroom Records alongside Peyton, helping out with different artists.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Raylee Keller: Best friends; often working on stuff at Red Bedroom Records when Raylee is home.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Sawyer Scott is the oldest child of Lucas and Peyton. Her parents left Tree Hill shortly after she was born, but ultimately returned to Tree Hill just before Sawyer’s second birthday. Sawyer showed an interest in writing at an early age. She was always coming up with stories to tell her friends and family. Her grades were good - they weren’t perfect, but they were good, and she was fine with that. Cheering wasn’t really her style, even though her friends were on the squad; it just wasn’t something she wanted to do.

After high school, Sawyer wasn’t really sure what she wanted to do. She went on to Tree Hill University because she knew that she wanted a college degree, but she couldn’t narrow her options down. Ultimately, she decided to go for a business degree. She really wanted to open up her own publishing company in Tree Hill. After hearing the stories about how many times her father’s books had been rejected, she wondered how many other great stories were out there getting rejected by big publishing companies who were just looking to sell. She hoped that one day she could be a voice for those people.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

Logan Evans:  Sawyer has had a crush on Logan for as long as she can remember. She knows that their age difference has always been the reason why nothing has happened between them, but she can't shake her feelings. 

Allan Scott: There isn't much that Sawyer wouldn't do for her baby brother.

THE BACKSTORY: 

Skylar Jagielski grew up in Savannah, Georgia with her parents , Jake and Nicki, and older sister , Jenny. Though she didn’t grow up in Tree Hill like others did, she never felt like an outsider. She didn’t necessarily love Tree Hill as much as her father and sister did, but she didn’t hate it either.

Skylar was was an average student at her best. School was really hard for her and it wasn’t something she enjoyed. She was more into sketching and drawing than school. When she broke the news to her family that she didn’t want to go to college, they were fine with it. They understood completely.

Currently, Skylar runs her own online shop in Tree Hill. She does a lot of graphic design work for businesses in the town and is slowly gaining recognition in other places as well.

RELATIONSHIPS 

Jenny Jagielski: Annoying older sister

Lily Scott: Skylar and Lily have a lot in common and she often calls on Lily to model clothes for her in the store. 

Allan Scott:  Skylar is one of the few people who has seen Allan's talent for drawing. She's not sure why he doesn't talk more about it - he really is good.
