a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... A Call from the Heart of Gaza: Everything Has Been Destroyed, and We Need Survival

I am a 50-year-old farmer from Gaza. Throughout my life, the land has been my refuge, and work has been my way of making a living. I would wake up every morning to the sound of the earth, touch it with my hand, and plant what would ensure our survival. But today, the land I love means nothing, because the war has destroyed everything.

My home has been reduced to rubble, and my family is scattered amidst the rubble and destruction. I can no longer tell my son, "This is our home," or reassure my wife that tomorrow will be better. We have lost everything, and our dream of peace has become a mirage.

Now, we are on the streets, homeless, without food, without hope. A life that was once filled with work and hope has turned into a struggle for mere survival.

We need you most. With each passing day, we feel despair creeping into our hearts. We ask for nothing but survival, for a chance at life after so much pain. My little boy sleeps hungry on the cold floor, and my heart is breaking. What should I say to him? How do I explain that life has become endless pain?

Today, we need everything, and any help could be the only light in our dark tunnel.

Help with some bills to end pride month?

My class that will hopefully let me start a new better paying job starts tomorrow and will go through the rest of the summer. It’s online, so I’ll still be working as much as I can. My hours as a shift lead at my job are capped at 29 a week but I’ve been having weeks with only 20-25 scheduled hours even though it is the busy season. I pick up shifts as much as I can and now that my car is working, I’m going to be doing delivery app driving as soon as my accounts get cleared for it.

If anybody is able, 300 to go towards my roommates and I’s bills on the first would be a huge relief. Things are really tight. I haven’t drawn much lately but if you message me any requests I’d be happy to draw you a silly thank you.

the fact that literally all SCP games out there are just generic survival horror projects and that there's like basically nothing that actually utilizes the absolutely fuckhuge and extremely richly detailed (completely free to use in whatever way you want) world to tell an actually compelling story or even just do like literally any setting that isn't inside one of the facilities is genuinely such a tragedy. Give me a plot set amongst the rural Sarkics of like early 20th century Russia. Do a mystery/detective-style game set inside the academies of three Portlands. VA-11-HALL-A but you're a librarian inside the wanderer's library. UIU strategy game where you constantly encounter fucked up shit and have to use your very limited knowledge about the world you're in and even more limited funds to try and decide what incidents are worth investigating and how you deal with them like I am literally on my hands and knees begging. There's so so so much potential in this world that's just going completely unexplored when it comes to games pleeeease just do something other than escape from site 19 #1547786544 I'm actually starving here.

My mom has gotten extremely sick in the last few days and we’re pretty sure it’s a kidney infection bc she gets chronic UTIs and she’s been trying to tough it out but at this point we rlly need to get her to the hospital asap bc she’s in a lot of pain and her fever won’t go down and she just isn’t well enough to walk and take the train rn so if anyone can help me get her an Uber I would appreciate it SO much. I’d need about $20 to get her there and $20 to get her home later

I don't know how long this will last, but the situation here in Gaza is getting worse every day after the war between Iran and Israel. I forgot about Gaza. No one talks about us anymore, and the news doesn't mention us. All that is being discussed is Iran, Israel, and America.It's as if they forgot that the main problem is Gaza.
