Europeansim Council Summit: Francesim, Iona and Pierreland play spoilsport

The 8 heads of state of Europesim met for a summit of the Europeansim Council, one of the major institutions of the Europeansim Union. The role of the Europeansim Council is to decide on the next directions of the E.U. in the coming months, and it is currently presided over by the Empire of Francesim for 6 months.

H.I.M Emperor Napoléon V of the French, who presided over the meeting, wanted to impose stricter police measures throughout the EU.

The topics discussed at the diamond table focused mainly on the security of member states. As a reminder, Francesim and Iona have been the victims of attacks on their sovereigns, Emperor Napoléon IV and Queen Viviana I, in recent months. These terrorist acts raise many questions about policing and surveillance measures in the Europeansim Union. A few years ago, Pierreland also had to deal with a regicide.

H.I.M Emperor David of Pierreland brought his country's experience of crisis management to the diamond table.

While the national security vote is being prepared everywhere in the Europeansim institutions, uncertainty remains as to the severity of the legislation. This law is likely to have a major geopolitical impact on all Europeansim countries, allowing them to strengthen or not their surveillance measures, and leading to a clear reduction in individual freedoms.

Pierreland's proposals did not meet with unanimous approval, particularly from the heads of state in Iona and Greecesim.

Some countries, such as Greecesim, condemned these exchanges as a "terrible mistake". Queen Viviana II called for calm, proposing "reinforced surveillance" rather than fully aligning herself with the vigorous police measures proposed by the French Presidency.

From this meeting, we can only conclude that the Europeansim Council Summit will require further sessions to achieve fruitful debates. A rift between the Europesim countries is more than tangible, and is worrying the people of the E.U.

Alors que le vote de sécurité nationale se prépare un peu partout dans les institutions européennes, l'incertitude demeure quant à la sévérité des textes de lois. Cette loi devrait avoir un impact géopolitique majeur sur l'ensemble des pays d'Europesim, leur permettant ou non de durcir leurs mesures de surveillance et entraînant une diminution des libertés individuelles.

Les propositions de Pierreland n'ont pas fait l'unanimité, notamment auprès des chefs d'états d'Iona et de la Grèce.

Certains pays comme la Grèce fustigent ces échanges parlant d'une "terrible erreur". La reine Viviana II appelle au calme en proposant une "surveillance renforcée" plutôt que de s'aligner totalement sur les mesures policières vigoureuses proposées par la présidence française.

De cette réunion, on peut seulement conclure que le Sommet du Conseil Européen nécessitera de nouvelles sessions pour parvenir à des débats fructueux. Une fracture entre les pays d'Europesim est plus que tangible et inquiète les habitants de l'U.E.

Marie Christine: It is such a beautiful day today. Hortense: Indeed. The rainbow is such a beautiful touch as well.

Marie Christine: Is everything going okay with working on your dress? Hortense [sighing]: Sadly no...I wish I could wear my mama's but...[sarcastically] my dear sister decided to wear it. Marie Christine: tsk tsk. The audacity. It is as if I asked Katalina to wear her mother's sari...I am sorry that it happened Hortense...but Victoria and I hope we can be of some assistance.

Hortense: You both definately will be! You've both married in and had to deal with this process...I'm just surprised the only requirement being a scottish designer. Marie Christine: I was shocked as well...I luckily found a scottish designer in Pierreland...but I take it the search isn't going well in Francesim? Hortense: Not really...none of their current designs speak to me enough to warrent me speaking to them further. Marie Christine: Well..I hope you won't mind that I invited a designer of the up most discretion to join us all for tea. I think you'll enjoy working with her.

Butler: Your Majesty & Your Imperial Highness, welcome back to Birkhall. Let me escort you to the Lilac Drawing Room. Marie Christine: Thank you Zion.

Hortense: You invited a designer? Your Majesty, I- Marie Christine: Hortense, darling, it is Victoria and I's honor. After all, you are marrying her favorite grandson. [Hortense chuckling]

Hortense: This designer...have I seen her work? Marie Christine: Potentially...she's not aligned with a fashion house but she does wear most of her own creations. Hortense: I see...I am most intrigued.

Evie: Who better to help you make you look amazing on your big day, and prevent the press from finding out! Hortense: Would it really be a bad thing if the press finds out the designer? Evie: It'd definately ruin the fun of the design cause people would be trying to find every little detail of it before the day...it just gets messy.

Hortense: I hope you can help me with this Evie...I've been struggling..I want something that will make the Scots Royal Family proud but also my own. Evie: Honestly, the Stuarts wouldn't mind if you showed up in a track suit to get married...Simpartes on the other hand...I don't know...my goal is to make sure you feel beautiful and confident when you walk down that aisle. Regardless of the protocol police.

Hortense [laughing]: Has Oliver been spreading that term around the friend- Equerry: Her Majesty, Dowager Queen Victoria of the Scots and Her Imperial Majesty Madame Mere Marie Josephine of Francesim.

Evie & Hortense: Your Majesties. Victoria: Thank you Group Captain Holden. That'll be all. Madame Mere, the young woman in the purple pant suit is Lady Evie McPherson. The promising young designer. Evie, Why don't we go set up tea and let Hortense and her mother speak. Evie: Of course Ma'am.

Hortense: Bonjour Mama! Marie Josephine: Bonjour Hortie. Did you think I would miss this? Hortense: To be honest, this meeting came as quite a surprise for me.

Marie Josephine: It is quite a big event, and quite a big deal for both nations...I know the Imperial Household is wrapped up in your brother's coronation right now but imagine that amount of effort being put in here. I do think it's high time you settle on what you'd like out of a dress. Hortense [whispering]:I wish I could've worn yours though... Marie Joesphine: I know my sweet girl. Perhaps we can take inspiration from it and craft something that fits you and your big day. After all, you will be a future queen. This dress is for you but also for the Scots and Francesim.

Victoria: I think we can all agree...that one of the biggest things people will speak about of in this wedding, is Hortense's dress. Hortense, I know you've been going through a list of designers?

Hortense: Yes...None of their works speak to me but I have seen some of what Evie has built for herself and she knows how I see style, so I definately see this working! Marie Christine: Excellent. Now I do know that His Holiness is also attending, so Evie, you must keep that in mind even though I know Hortense was going to probably ask for sleeves and such.

Marie Josephine: Lady Evie, I do know that Hortense had dreamed of wearing my own dress since she was a girl, I can arrange for the Imperial Household to let you take a look at it in order to influence your design. Hortense: Oh yes, that would be lovely Mama! I also would like to take inspiration from Queen Marie Christine's gown as well. Marie Christine: I can also arrange for the Royal Archives to pull out my dress as well.

Evie [thoughtfully]: Thank you Ma'ams. I have actually been studying your dress Madame Mere and I do have some design ideas that I would love to run by this formidable council of women. Hortense: Well, Evie, Fire away. Evie: So for the neckline I'm thinking....

Butler: The Dowager Queen is still in her meeting sir. Oliver: I thought Granny's schedule was clear? Butler: This was last minute arranged by the Queen's Household sir. Oliver: By Mum's? What the bloody hell is-

Victoria: Ah, Oli! Thank you for being so paitent my gàrlach (little rouge). I think I've had my fill of tea but we can take a quick walk in the gardens. Marie Josephine: Oliver, I didn't know you were going to be here! Victoria: We usually have tea every Saturday. A little tradition of ours. I do hope that all of your future grandchildren can have that sense of closeness.

Oliver: Hello Granny. We can take a quick stroll. I was supposed to meet Hortense at the polo match in a bit... Victoria: We also do not have to meet this weekend sweetheart.

Oliver: Madame Mere. I hope you are finding your time here enjoyable. Marie Josephine: Indeed Oliver. I see where you're groundeness and goodness comes from and it assures me that Hortense shall be well taken care of. Oliver: I am glad Your Imperial Majesty. It is my main goal in life.

Oliver: Now Granny, Am I in trouble? [joking] cause all the women who could dictate that sentence are all walking out of a room. Victoria: Oliver, we were doing some wedding discussions. Something you and your father need to have cause you need to figure out your uniform. Oliver: I mean...I was just going to wear- Victoria: You will have that conversation with your father Oliver. Coup de Majesté

A coup de Majesté is a brutal act or order dictated by the monarch, notably to forcibly subdue the beginnings of opposition, or even rebellion or revolt against him, and thus re-establish his authority or power.

Oliver

Age 24.

Born Oliver David Alexander James. He is the son of King Alexander III of Scots & HIH Princess Marie Christine of Pierreland.

He is Hortense's fiancé.

An intelligent, empathetic, passionate yet stubborn young man, he has entered into the heart of the Francesim court with his relationship to HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim, which has had a few mis-steps in the eyes of conservatives who think the young Prince may be a liability to the Imperial Monarchy's god-like veneer.

He is currently preparing for his own wedding celebrations and helping his bride to be prepare for life outside of Francesim. His views on transparency and relaxed attitude put him at odds with his future in laws.

The Way We Were,

In the First week of April, Her Illustrious Majesty and the Imperial Prince began their Two Week Intercontinental Tour. Their first few days were spent with her almost in-laws and definately, somehow, cousins on both sides followed by a short meet and greet with the heiress in Trenton. After which, they left for Armorica.

HRH the Duke of Rothsey was joined by his fiance HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim for Easter Mass at St. John the Baptist Parish Church and brief walk about in the Duchy of Rothsey near Camp Wallace.

The couple were seen talking with Father Carter, chaplain to the local paratrooper regiment and the couple's rumored counselor as they go through the required pre wedding counseling.

The Duke's fiance was wearing a pale pink dress designed by Lady Evie MacPherson, a friend of Her Imperial Highness's and the Duke's. Meanwhile the Duke was in a light grey suit, blue shirt and coordinating pink tie.

While the Duke was greeting a recently returned paratrooper, cameras quickly caught the sweet interaction between Madame Hortense and the soldier's young daugher who the crowd said asked her what it was like to be a princess. The girl's mother said that Madame Hortense lovingly answered the tot's persistent questions, even including on what it's like to wear tiaras. Onlookers also reported that the Duke would be beaming with love as he'd glance over his fiance.

The pair then left the church and proceeded to join Their Majesties and the rest of the family at Birkhall, current country residence of Dowager Queen Victoria.

🥂 What does a night out look like for them?

So they don't go out much cause the security detail is a pain and expensive for the taxpayers, so they turn their nighttime engagements into date night so it'll usually be their fanciest of fancy clothes and talking to a ton of people at some gala/concert/state dinner before just collapsing into the car on the way back and decompressing.

I've put some thought into it but never really made it public cause it was all after the fact. Kat is both the more adventurous and more experienced due to the fact that she did alot of experimentation in her high school and college days with all her past partners being silent on what had happened when the trashy tabloids or biographers come knocking. David's partners were all unimaginative aristocratic girls so Kat showed David alot.
