I've finally finished designing the armor for Zane!!!

It took me more time than I thought it would. I blame his legs for that ... I'm still not quite sure about the final design, but my favorite part of it is the helmet.

I should have drawn him with an ice falcon. It would be so cool. But I wanted to focus more on armor here, so weapons are also a bit simpler.

I gave him a bow bc it's such a cool weapon for him, and in my opinion, he should use it more

And as a second weapon, I gave him a Katar. At first, it may seem like a strange choice, but he kinda uses his Shurikens in a show similar to Katar, or any kind of dagger ... or sword. Anyway

Katar is just such a cool dagger. I was debating whether to give him Scissors Katar, but for now, let's just stick with normal Katar :)

And the steam coming from him is supposed to be sublimation. Only ice spikes would be boring, so the cool steam it is :)

For @kosmatish ! Congrats on 2K followers! I love your work so much; I hope you continue to grow and enjoy art! It’s probably obvious that I particularly like the Glacier pieces, but I enjoy the art no matter what. (If you’re not following them, please go do so!)

I made Zane’s tears glowy because… I thought it’d look cool lol I also changed the background, but I blurred it a little too much oops. Cole surprises Zane with the tattoo while in their shared room and alone. I think Zane is the only one aware of the tattoo for a while until a particularly warm summer and Cole goes shirtless, and he’s surprised when Kai or Jay or someone points it out because he had forgotten that he hadn’t shown them. Or maybe he really can’t help but be really happy about the tattoo and HAS to show it to the others, too.

I don’t usually draw Cole with short hair, so I’m sure that’s really obvious lol But I really love the Zane design. Eating it up. 🫶🫶🫶
