I like the idea of an erratic time loop, it’s definitely looping when you die, but how far it loops seems almost random, one time you wake up and you’re looking down the barrel of what killed you last time, the next it’s five years earlier and there’s seemingly no rhyme or reason to when you loop to.

btw i got put in a timeloop and a little known fact is you don't get to keep any of your practical skills. it's all about the psychological development i guess. i got really good at rock climbing and rollerblading in there. came out and i can't grip or balance for shit. kinda wonder what the point was because i do feel like the rollerblading was pretty essential to my moral epiphany but i guess there's stuff about being in a timeloop that's just not for me to understand. idk.

me and my uncle got freaky friday'd to teach us a lesson but i guess he needed to learn a separate lesson that required a timeloop but the timeloop people didn't know i was in my uncle's body so now i'm trapped in a timeloop designed for him which is making it really difficult to escape and we can't switch bodies back til i get out of here. you can try offering me advice but i've made this post 37 days in a row and y'all keep saying the same thing so atp don't worry about it

need to share this experience i just had, and this seemed the proper place to do it:

i had gone to watch a youtube video about timeloops that i thought i hadn't seen before only to realize a few minutes in that i had already watched it, and the irony / thematic relevance was so rich and poignant that for a fraction of a second i experienced a psychosis and genuinely believed that i was part of some narrative.

i'm not a person with any sort of history of experiencing mentally-induced unreality, the coincidence was just that alarming.

as someone who does experience unreality / derealization every once in a while, can confirm that that would Freak Me The Fuck Out
