☕ Breakfast Coffee using The Gabi Dripper after some time! I used their recipe (150ml water / 15gr of coffee) with coffee from Iconic Coffee Roaster! Located in Kreuzberg, Chapter One is that kind of cafè which has a lot of personality and a strong pursuit of perfection in coffee preparation and customer care. It is also the cafè where you can meet the italian brewers champion 2017 Gianenrico Zaniol! Gian has been one of the first supporters of our documentary Coffees – Italians do it better(?) and after the brewers championship in Sigep we became friends. He brewed a delicious kenyan coffee from Johan & Nystrom and it was just perfect, so fruity and sweet! Chapter One offers also a selection of pastries and salty croissants and is definitely one of my favourite places in Kreuzberg. Kaffee9 has an enviable position just a few seconds from markthalle neun foodhall; here  I drank a flat white enjoying the morning just shortly before entering at the Berlin Coffee Festival! At Kaffee9 we also met Resi from TheWayToCoffee for an interview about Romedia Studio and our documentary Coffees – Italians do it better(?) it was a lovely meeting full of good coffee, pastries and granola! If you are going to the Markthalle Neun then don’t miss this place!

My visit at Ben Rahim was super short but I think I like everything in this tiny place; I like the interior design, the staff was nice and the coffee was super! I drank a coffee perfectly brewed in v60, it was a kenyan coffee roasted by April Coffee Copenaghen, and it was so juicy and sweet that I still remember it! As I told you my visit was very short and I didn’t have the opportunity to eat anything. However their selection of Square Mile Coffee combined with a monthly guest roaster is perfect for this place!
