“ I’m afraid I have nothing to offer for I ran away from castle ” his eyes were directly on the blonde, he wasn’t afraid of the king’s glare, a glare that seemed to be pointing daggers at them dangerously as they they tried to get answers. He was used to cold but burning royal eyes looking at him that way, he wouldn’t be intimidated so easily, not anymore.

“ Are you sure you don’t want to come along and slay that army ? ” he knew exactly what the king wanted, more power and more control, a pattern that endlessly repeated with each monarch the cursed prince met. “ If you joined us you would be able to become an even bigger hero between your people ” his voice was steady, no stutter nor flinch could be heard or seen from him, and although that was how he always talked, this time the seriousness of the offer could be seen on his different colored eyes.

     “  not interested in helping you or your friends; why’d you need to know where the sword is at, anyway?  ”  it came out a little too frustrated, a little too involved. his voice is here and not  —  a channel of misplaced anger and near-animalistic rage, pointed towards the presumed leader of the group that stood before him. the raw skin of his palms stung under his fingertips as he unconsciously drew his hands into fists. he had to remind himself that he was the chief barbarian of his tribe, savior of the people and king of dragons; that concerning himself with menial things like useless travelers on a quest would only serve to undermine his authority.

     katsuki leans forward from his throne, his frown challenging and daring to tear them all apart. his muscles coil, tight and outraged. the party of four had five seconds to leave his village or he was going to kill them.   “  you’re full of yourself to believe you can defeat the army outside the borders of yuuei mountain. if you value your life, you’d leave these lands entirely. you’d stay out of my way,  ”  he tilts his head high, a growl breaching his lips.  “  deku.  ”

TERROR RUNG ACROSS HIS BONES WHEN   the ever so intimidating, fearless, king of dragons spoke to him with pure growl  &  implored anger. whilst walking among the unknown land, traveling far away from his own homeland in pursue of the great sword, ALL FOR ONE, alongside unexpected comrades along the way, izuku  &  his friends found themselves stepping in a territory not to familiar. there, the group had no choice but to ask the king, himself, for something as simple as directions. izuku wasn’t too sure how come he found himself so bold enough to even face him, except sheer amount of stubbornness as well as …. slight tint of desperation.

whilst bowing, he nervously gulps as he made sure his head hung low, the insult still ringing in his head. deku … that name sent chills down his spine, as mean spirited as it was.   ❛  i - i - i understand we’ve trespassed your land, b - but we assure you that … that we only need directions…. we will not stand in your way afterwards.  ❜    for the love of god, he should just zip it, else he’d make things worse. then, an idea came to his mind. perhaps the prince, himself, could advocate in their name. he slightly turned to shoto as he mutters:  ❛  your highness, i don’t mean to put pressure in you, but … maybe you should speak to the king. i don’t think he is willing to traverse with the likes of myself. a - after all, you could … o - offer something for exchange …  ❜   this was their only choice. a royal speaking to another … it could possibly work, right ?

He had been eyeing the object for a while now after the tip of his pencil broke while taking notes, but he didn’t know when exactly to ask for it, not wanting his classmate or himself to lose focus on the lesson. 

“ ...yeah, thank you ” he answered once the girl noticed his struggle and offered the pencil sharpener to him.

He halted once he heard a barely familiar female voice calling him, startling him slightly. He had been trying to use both of his sides at the same time, but he hadn’t been able to, his activity mirroring too closely the one during their group quirk training some time back instead of actually fulfilling his goal.

The teenager turned around and faced the girl, his body temperature cold after using his right side last, his skin visibly freezing while he panted out of exhaustion. Shoto recognized her, after all he had talked —although barely— with the 1-B student before.

“ I’m sorry, I didn’t know anyone was going to be here so early ” he commented, moving his left hand towards the large ice wall he hadn’t had time to melt before being ambushed by Kurumi.

SHE’S BEEN OBSERVING THE MISMATCHED - LOOKING    student going off at the field, unleashing both fire  &   ice on each sides, for some time now. whilst they’ve interacted before, briefly but well enough to form some sort of mutual understanding, she never found the courage to actually talk fully with the other. amethysts blink after witnessing a sea of flames melting through ice, to which she’d carefully approach him.
