//Hey, everyone! You’ve probably noticed I haven’t been very active on this blog in a while so I’m going to be taking a bit of a hiatus. I’ll still pop on from time to time, but I don’t expect to be as active on Threepio as I am with Leia. This is because I have to be in the right mood to write Threepio whereas I can write Leia almost all the time. So if you’re not in touch with me there already, you can find me on my Leia account, @rebelprincessleia.

“Oh, dear,” the protocol droid said. It was clear he was very worried, although he was worried all the time. “What do you suppose that noise was?”

Threepio grasped the arm-rests of the seat he was sitting in with his golden hands and braced himself for the ship to take off. He spoke again once they were in the air.

“Senator, you are doing a fine job at flying.”

          “Well we don’t have the time for a repair job now.” She reaches forward, pale fingers pressing the appropriate sequence of buttons. “I’ll have to speak to him when we return to Coruscant. Hold onto something.” One more button and the ship is rising steadily into the air.

“Thank you, Senator Amidala. That is reassuring,” the droid replied. “I do hope Master Anakin can repair the ship soon.”

          “Relax, Threepio.” A slender hand is placed upon the droid’s shoulder. “I’ve asked Master Skywalker COUNTLESS times to repair this engine.” And yet it still manages to squeal and groan. “It’s normal.” At least, she hopes the old ship will hold together.
