Excalibur- Not the same sword as the one you once pulled from the stone, your long-lost Caliburn. No, this sword was forged in the heart of the planet and passed along to you by the Fae, a Divine Construct that would forever mark you as a King among Kings.

This is not the original, not the very same one you held it life, but a replica that exists within you, tied inextricably to your existence as "King Arthur." The original, you recall, sunk beneath the waves, returned to the Lady of the Lake by Bedivere's hands.

...It was a hard duty you left to your most dedicated and loyal of Knights. This sword, a symbol of you as much as it a weapon, carries much weight. People lived and died by this sword, by your judgement, only for it to disappear from human hands and back into the realm of the gods.

It is the light of the planet which human hands were not meant to hold, that which would save the world in it's moment of inevitable destruction.

You trust this sword to see you through all conflicts which come your way- You, as a Saber, possess no other weapon but this. It is your proof of heroism, the record that shows you are King Arthur.

Yet, for all that... It is merely a weapon, the tool for mankind's protection that was entrusted to you. It is a part of you, so inextricable that none could take it from the "you" who exists now. Excalibur is not something you love or cherish. It simply is.

It is what you cannot give up. It is forever as you are.
