jester nodded, understanding what he was saying. she cocked her head to the side, then shrugged at his question. "everyone has their secrets and does what they need to to get by. it is what it is. i'm part of an adventuring party and even if you think it is, it's really not that different than doing things for coin like we did."

"Sketchy maybe but we got the job done. You gave us a contract we saw it through. Best of the best." Lucanis did miss his family. He was still doing jobs, the pub being a front for what he actually did. It was the best way to keep Spite quiet sometimes. "We were the crows, yes. The Dellamorte family basically ran Treviso at the head of the crows. This doesn't worry you? You know knowing what type of person I am."

"i can be okay with that," abby responded as the other began. she also didn't want to fight if she were being honest. especially since she had a child. they didn't need to be traumatized. she was taken aback by her next words. "oh, uh, you're welcome and sorry?" she wasn't sure how to respond. part of her wanted to hash everything out and (verbally) fight it out with this girl, but part of her didn't. was it the time she's spent in this weird place that mellowed her out, or was the child acting as some weird buffer that made her not want to be as violent? abby wasn't sure. "i mean, i know it's been...however long, but how can you be so at peace with all this?"

Dina wasn't sure what to say to the other. She knew what had happen, what Ellie had done to her friends. And there was a part of her that understood, why Abby would've come to kill them all as well, to get back at Ellie. It was a never ending chase for revenge. Dina didn't know how things went the second time between Abby and Ellie, she had no idea if Ellie had even found Abby at all. Dina looked up at the other when she approached her, she stayed silent for a few moments before speaking up. "I don't want any trouble, no arguments or fights or whatever." Dina was done with all of that, she wanted a normal life and wanted to raise her son in peace. "I guess a part of me wants to thank you for not killing me and my son." She told her. "But then another part of me is very angry because you killed his dad. I cannot blame you though, not after what happened to your friends."

"well, that would be the first step, yes," abby chuckled. "i need to know where you're going to know if i can help you or not. new, huh? did you move here or show up here?"

"I'm trying to get back to my apartment. I'm new here, and this is a completely different place that I'm used to. I can tell you the address if that helps?" Telemachus was getting a little calmer now that someone's there to help him.

"oh right," laudna laughed, "it's a different world. much different than this one. for one, we only have horses and carts, not-" she motions to one of the things going by, "-cars? i think that's what they're called." she looks back over at the girl, "we also have magic, but that doesn't seem too different from here. though some people seem surprised by it while other's don't."

All of those places were not even remotely familiar in terms of her travels and she wondered if there had been new countries introduced since her last vacation or if the other was from a completely different world. "Now, dumb question," she said with a breathless laugh, "is that.... like from here or are you from another world?"

while jester would have preferred to be by herself, she found an area that was as sparsely populated as possible. there were only a few people around and they all seemed occupied with whatever they were doing and not watching her. taking this opportunity, she invoked duplicity and four more of her appeared. she had one approach a person that had just arrived in the area and wave at them then begin dancing. it couldn't talk but that would just make this interaction funnier she thought.

jester was sitting in her favorite sweets shop with a plate overflowing with things that she could not feasibly eat by herself. it wasn't her fault! everything looked sooo good! digging into a cupcake, she noticed someone staring at her. she smiled at them, "want something? i don't think i can take all of this home." she giggled.

abby was always aware of her surroundings. it didn't take her long to notice the other staring at her from a distance. she ignored it for a while, just waiting to see if she was going to approach her. when she didn't, she began making her way to her to initiate whatever was going to happen. this really could go a number of ways, however abby assumed it would be somewhat cordial since the other was holding a child. she never did get the girl's name, she just knew she was part of ellie's crew. she'd spared both of them at lev's behest. she wanted to so badly kill both of them, but this one to get back at ellie for killing mel. and now here they were, meeting again. abby nodded a hello when she got closer, but didn't say anything. waiting for the brunette to speak first.

Dina had no idea what had happened between Ellie and Abby, after Ellie left the farm to go seek her revenge. She didn't know if she had succeed or if she had gotten herself killed in the process. Dina always tried to keep those thoughts away from her mind, she didn't want to think about it, she would only drive herself crazy. Although, when she saw Abby there, alive and well, she assumed that either she had killed Ellie or maybe Ellie never found her. Dina knew the other could've killed her, she could've ended her life and her baby's before he was even born, and could she have blamed her for it? After what Ellie had done to her friends? Dina was lost in thought, still staring at the woman from a distance, not sure if she should approach or not, not sure how her reaction would be. Dina adjusted JJ in her arms, holding him tightly against her.

"manny." abby said breathlessly. she wasn't really a sentimental person, but she couldn't help but approach him and give him a hug. "i'm fine, how are you? did you just show up?" she looked around and shrugged, "it's pretty nice. no infected or anything. just a normal city - kind of."

"Hey, Abby." Manny greets, smiling softly at her. "How are you doing?" He then asks, "I don't know what to make of this place."

she waved him off, "oh, it's fine. no harm done." her eyebrows went up and she gave an unsettling smile, "yes. i'm here now, aren't i? well, magic, but do you want the story of the first time or the second time?"

"Ah" he said and then sighed, immediately feeling bad for going to the defence instead of just listening to what she had to say. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to sound so defensive" he nodded and then took a deep breath. "You died? And came back? How is that possible?"

laudna shrugged, "it is if you live in a world with magic and monsters and other things. it's really not that big a deal. sure we've died a few times, but we all came back." well, except fcg, but that was a different situation. she smiled, "oh, i am for sure. it's very nice here. relaxing."

"Used to fighting isn't a good thing. Hopefully you can find peace." Cordelia glanced at the other woman. "Slow down here and have some fun instead of fighting."

abby turned at the greeting. she'd been reading on a bench in the park, a rare thing for her but it was nice out. she looked at the other with an unfortunate expression, "if i knew how to play, i would. sorry. too bad it isn't checkers."

abby could tell by the look on the other's face that they were on the edge of something. they weren't just lost. "i've been here for a little bit. i can probably help you. where are you trying to go?"

Telemachus was lost. It wasn't the first time he'd been lost in this city. He was trying not to panic, but he wasn't succeeding. He notices someone around and walks to them. "Excuse me. I'm extremely lost. Is there anyway you can give me directions?"

"oh you know, the underground type. people who do secret - maybe sketchy - things. my friends and i went around many different types of people in our adventuring days." she tilted her head, "crows? is that what you called yourselves?"

"That is the least strange about me." He enjoyed his accent, here it reminded him of home. It helped his connection to home. "Similar people? Now what is similar people?" He asked with a slight sly grin. Wondering if she had figured out what he did. "Around home we didn't use a code, we knew who were crows and who weren't. Anyone who came to us was looking for someone to take on a contract. Pleasure to meet you Jester."
