My partner walked into the kitchen pretending to be an npc, repeating dialog and inviting me on a quest. So, naturally, I stopped moving and dead stared at the wall.

After a minute he recognized I was pretending to be a player character that had just stepped away from the controller. Peak improv comedy 😅

MidJourney v4 is very good at a lot of things, but it’s careened straight into uncanny valley with these hands, which are somehow *so much worse* by merit of being pretty much photorealistic.

In addition to, "how confident do I feel this person is taking COVID as seriously as I am," in my decision-making around sharing air with somebody, I also ask myself, "how mad would I be if I caught COVID from this person?" when doing my risk calculations. What I mean here is: Am I hanging out with this person out of a sense of social obligation somehow, but I don't actually like their company and would be grumpy if I caught COVID from them? Or would I be like, "this sucks but I knew it was a risk and I value that I saw my friend."

MidJourney has been amazing for making seamless textures, helping with some clipart frames, and generating image backgrounds. However every output I have takes follow up refinement and effort to make it usable, it's a tool, not a threat, to artists and designers. This gave me a good cackle - MJ is notoriously rubbish at generating the appropriate number of fingys 😂

Why is she so obsessed with zucchinis?!

I prepare them fried with a little olive oil for her, she's eaten a full half a zucchini before I cut her off just since it's a bit more fiber than she's used to. Zucchini is a safe vegetable for cats and contains several healthy nutrients, it's a good option for cats on a diet (like bopkins here).

This little gremlin turns her nose up to all people food, and is generally incredibly picky. Today, she stole a piece of salami right off my plate and houses it before I could stop her. What?! 😅
