i just really like the way these two progressed throughout the volumes like it genuinely makes me so happy seeing how far their relationship has come.

regardless of shipping them or not, i think it's just a little strange how we've had a lack of weiss and ruby interactions over the past few volumes yk.

regardless, these just make me happy:

like looking at how in their earlier volumes weiss was clearly NOT a fan of most physical interaction between her and ruby and tended to lean away or move away.

and cut to a few volumes later and we have these adorable moments; moments where weiss not only accepts or reciprocates ruby's touch but also initiates it sometimes.

anyways yes, i love the sm, i miss them, and i'm genuinely PRAYING for more moments between them in Volume 10.

Its fascinating that the way advertizing and apps work right now is simply how computer viruses, adware, spyware, and all manners of malware has ALWAYS worked. Growing up as a teen in the 2000s there used to be a program called Weatherbug that was pretty much considered unthinkable to ever have installed because of the way it knew your location and essentially EVERY adware, spyware, and antivirus software flagged it for removal immediately. It was considered best practice to never install anything. Never install toolbars, mever install anything without consulting a professional or unless you were ad advanced user. I was trained in Comptia A+ for the windows xp era and the best practice as a repair tech was to never allow the customer to install anything themselves if it could be helped.

And now just. Everything does this. Your fucking calculator wants your location data and business ghouls want it to ve illegal to use a simple adblocker because not advertizing to you hurts their feelings.

And now we have generative AI filling the internet witg slop that can have SEO and more ads slapped on top of it? Google is breaking on purpose so you make more searches?

The viruses have won, everything is malware and everything is a scam. To use commercial tech is to be voluntarily mugged

personally i worked at cracker barrel when the duck dynasty guys said something homophobic and cracker barrel decided to take duck dynasty merchandise off the shelves and I know I’ve made a post about this before because that was the most outrageous week of my life. old men thought I made that decision myself, personally, to slight them.

in 2012 we had an anti-abortion demonstrator on campus. I was in a ballet intensive and I walked by him—30 yards away & in total silence—wearing leggings and a sweater over my leotard, and he yelled, “nice cameltoe, dyke!”

I got to class and told my instructor about it and we complained to campus security, who told us that the campus was open to the public and that it was “his legal right to assembly and protest.”

so I guess the NYPD just showed up this time because these protestors forgot to sexually harass students and call them homophobic slurs. Easy mistake to make
