#planwithmechallenge 2.24: plans for march. Can you believe it?? February isn't even over and I've actually got march all laid out and ready to go!! I haven't been this on top of my bullet journal in a long time (we won't talk about how far I'm behind in InCoWriMo though 😬). #planwithmechallenge 2.16: color. I love minimalist bullet journals and tend to gravitate towards that style. But, at the same time I love color. I always thought these two things were at odds, but over time I have come to realize that you can have both. The style can still be pretty minimal (simple dots, not a lot of decoration, use of white space, etc) but the elements can be made of color. Too much clutter gets my feathers all ruffled but jus black and white makes me gloomy. So here's my attempt at combining both aesthetics. Another page from the #babyBuJo Everything we do has turned into a song. We have made up songs for every task from making a bottle to changing a diaper. I know it's late... really late... but because of this prompt, ive been wanting to try adding some color in the doodles for the #zenartchallenge and finally managed to give it a go. And I love it!!! The smallest little hint of color makes all the difference! I finally did it!! 😆😆 I've been wanting to get a PO Box and start letter exchanging and penpal-ing for months! I finally took the plunge, with a little nudge from next month's InCoWriMo, and got a box! Also, here are my #incowrimo trackers. On the map I'm going to mark places I send mail to with a dot, and color in The countries that I receive mail from. The right is just a simple tracker showing the person, when the mail was sent or received, etc. so far I only have @tinyrayofsunshine and @quiltercaroline on my list and I need 26 more. If you would like to get a letter from me either send me one and I'll write you back, or private message me your address. I only have limited time, so I'll let you know when I get a full list and can't accept any more. But, all letters I receive will definitely get a reply!!! #planwithmechallenge 1.18: journaling. I am getting more and more into art journaling lately, but I haven't figured out a good way to incorporate it into my daily BuJo. I tried the 'Omni journal' idea for a month, but I didn't like my super personal journaling in the same book as my planning. It made me oddly uncomfortable. Lol! The most I really do in my bullet journal is the #zenartchallenge and I leave the other journaling to my traveler's notebook. I've been super inspired by the 'when frogs sing' journaling course that @rhomany is hosting on Patreon. A quick flip-through of my bullet journal for December. It was definitely a trying month for me in life, work, and planning. I found that my BuJo wasn't being effective for me anymore and I was forgetting things and falling behind on tasks.
