IMPORTANT UPDATE.

I'll be damned if I don't take the fucking opportunity to smear into your hater's faces how - after reading my message - they actually admit and acknowledge that they are breaindead. My post was literally about how they should stop randomly accusing people like degenerates and use their brains for once and decide to do the very thing someone with the IQ of a human being shouldn't? EVERY HATE MESSAGE YOU RECIEVE REGARDING LUCOA AND THE MDKM CANON/SPIN-OFF IS ACTUAL AMMO FOR ME TO SHOOT RIGHT INTO THEIR CRUSTY CROTCHES.

So. The Lucoa Spin Off.

There is a few things I need to fucking address. I hope there’s enough braincells left on this planet to connect the dots but I honestly expect the worst.

So. The Lucoa Spin Off.

There is a few things I need to fucking address. I hope there’s enough braincells left on this planet to connect the dots but I honestly expect the worst.

A Spin Off is NOT CANON.

I repeat. SPIN OFFS ARE NOT CANON

Yes that also includes that one shitty frame from the shitty BNHA Spin Off with Bakugou saying “I’m fond of women no longer” and everyone seeing it as canon.

So. Now that I said that, let’s get into detail. I’m part of the MKDM Fandom. And I happen to like Lucoa as a character. Especially in the animated series.

I am aware that lolicon and shotacon are a popular and comfortable subject in Japan. I don’t agree with that mindset, but it’s just what floats their boats. In the animated series, the Lucoa x Shouta running gag was kept low, every bomb people would throw to make her look like a pedo can easily be defused with facts.

She simply tries to be nice, doesn’t know how to handle human children well, and just the fact she looks physically appealing makes everything she does questionable. That’s it that’s the story.

YES I KNOW SHE OFFERED HER BODY TO HIM JUST TO BE ABLE TO STAY. But did you even watch that scene?

She tried everything; offered him magic powers, knowledge, riches and he denied everything. She had a stern, dissatisfied expression when she literally retorted to her last option. At least, that’s how far the anime goes. I don’t read the Manga out of frustration how they took this interesting character and erased all her potential for this shit. If she were a predator, why would his parents fucking allow her to live with them? They gave her a room for crying out loud! They just welcomed her so at least as far as the anime goes - Lucoa is misunderstood, not a disgusting pedo.

And now. The Spin Off. I know most of you already stopped reading as soon as I stated the fact that spin offs are not canon because y'all butthurt. But for those who still are with me and are actually open to let in some facts other than just opinions and delusions - the Lucoa Spin Off just hit the shelves. I gave it a look online and I am disgusted.

They already killed off her potential in the Canon Manga, but what they did to her just for fanservice and because it was legal to do in the Spin Off is unspeakable.

Just for once, think before you go on yet another witch hunt. Fans of Lucoa, Lucoa selfshippers and despite me not agreeing to the whole fictionkin thing; Lucoa kin AS WELL - They are not responsible for what happens in the damn spin off. They are not responsible for what happens in the damn Canon Manga. They are not responsible for the running gag in the show. Being a fan of a certain character in one way or another doesn’t mean you agree with everything that happens to that character, or to all their ideals and decisions.

Everyone fucking loves Charizard, as an example. I don’t even ask people about their favorite Pokémon anymore since it’s Charizard 90% of the time. Charizard was a massive asshole in the original Pokémon anime. Sooooo being a Charizard fan makes ya a bully, abusive and/or an arsonist if the same logic is applied.

See what I did there? It’s the same logic Boomers use to blame video games for violence.

Be smarter than that. If in doubt: ASK. ASK AND NOT JUST ASSUME AND ACCUSE. You all flip your shit if someone assumes your gender and see it as inhumanely cruel but flick around rape and pedo accusations like glitter.

EDIT:

The spin off throws away character potential. in the manga, the scenes are somewhat more explicit, BUT there’s more to Lucoa and Shouta’s characters in the main series manga (and even in the Kanna and Elma manga)

Lucoa and Shouta are super OOC in the spin off. Obviously because spin offs are STILL NOT CANON, the characters are usually always pretty ooc.

Lucoa goes from a nice and kind person that just has too much sex appeal to make innocent things remain innocent to.. Well. And Shouta going from being scared of Lucoa (thinking she’s a succubus after his soul) to straight up hating her existence (an example would be when she saved him from drowning and rather then thanking her, he blames her for nearly dying). also other characters are written OOC; Kobayashi being into traps is one (in a chapter where Lucoa and Shouta work at a maid cafe and Kobayashi sees him in a maid outfit and gets massively excited) to Kanna comparing the relationship between Lucoa and Shouta like hers and Saikawa’s.

“love the art, hate the artist”

That mentality is applied to Harry Potter and Minecraft for example. And for me and a few friends of mine, it’s also applied to MDKM.

TL;DR - The Lucoa Spin Off is horrible, not canon and y'all should not just assume someone approves of the shit that happens in the Manga with her if they like her as a character.
