[ANALYSIS] TXT CROWN

This song might look bright at a first listen but when you understand its meaning it’s very deep, sad but yet inspiring. 

BACKSTORY:

Crown is about a boy who one day woke up with a strong headache and horns on his head. This will lead to strong denial by society who will name him a monster just because he is a little bit different. The boy finds no way but to run away. In a path so dark at the end of the tunnel he finds some light. And there he meets a boy with wings. That boy becomes his source of calmness and joy as he realized that he is not lonely anymore. 

A DEEPER LOOK: 

So what does this song talk about? Humans cannot really grow horns in one night but they can come to a realization that can change them forever and make some part of society deny them. I am talking about a religion that is not accepted by many. I am talking about a sexual orientation that is not seen real by many. I am talking about a race that is denied by many. This song is about the loneliness and hardships these people go through. Yet when you find someone like you or someone who understands you. Someone just as different as you. Don’t you find comfort and ease in their existence alone?

A MORE EXTRAORDINARY ENDING:

The song doesn’t end by just telling us how the boy finds another different boy and breaks free from loneliness but also how this boy grew up to love who he is and turn his horns into a crown that makes him king of his own world. Thus, this song is about accepting our differences and loving what makes us unique.
