So, when I decided to dedicate all my time to writing I kind of forgot all the art and gamedev accounts I have places.
Which is rude, truly, to you lovely people who followed my projects and seemed to enjoy what I was trying to do.
I can never quite express how sorry I am for that.
Ideas aren't games, and none of mine seemed to get too much further than being half of a thing, or a quarter even. Barring Bun Escape, but I mean...it's five minutes long, at best, and there's a vocal amount of people who've insisted it doesn't count (and yet I had fun making it and love my little bunny so eh, maybe it does).
Today I looked at my itchio account and...why, after about two years, people are downloading a buggy mess of a demo I honestly should have taken down?
What did I do.
Why do people want sugar again?
I can't make it. I'd love to, really, and have a whole gamedoc just for it hidden somewhere, but I am inept at the programming, even with all the assistance of engines built for dummies.
So, whoever is downloading the demo, please enjoy. Have fun with what's there, and I am so very sorry there won't be more.
And also sorry I've been eaten by the world of horror fiction and can seem to do nothing else but write unsettling stories.
I hope all of you have been making things and having fun doing it!
#i have been checking up on some of you in a not at all creepy fashion#so i know some of you are makin' fun stuff#sugar and spice#all this month and last it's getting views and random downloads#don't make me open gamemaker again guys i will cry

I am terribly sorry that this place has been so quiet.
I have been writing. A lot. There are two short stories on Amazon with my name on them now, with two others in progress and about nine more planned. There is also a novel in the hands of beta readers, to be dissected and criticized mercilessly until it is the best version of itself it can be before I publish it. Then there's another, unrelated novel that I'm a few chapters into writing. Oh, and a novella I'm about halfway into as well.
So yeah, a lot. I've been busy, not in a way that's easy to share or show and certainly not in an economically productive way (writing is not where the money is, it is exactly where it is not)…but busy.
There are no immediate pixelart or dev plans to share, but if you want to see what I've been up to it is over here -> @dyrewrites
Once my dev partner figures out what we're doing, I will probably be making fishing frog sprites and tiles. So this blog isn't dead, exactly, just sleeping...deeply.

Ten. In less than an hour. Ten bots.
I give up. You win, bots. You can inflate my follower count and try to flirt your way into my personal information all you desire. I will ignore you, but I wont report or block anymore as it seems to accomplish nothing I have stopped caring.
This is an announcement for everyone else as well. If you follow me with nothing on your page, or immediately message me after following, please be aware that it is the bots' fault that I ignore you.
I am very sorry.
#it is only bots following me anymore#probably because I haven't updated here in forever#but still#I am sorry

Amphora is a character I played in a recent D&D campaign. She was a Plasmoid. A sentient ooze. Her species does not have faces, or mouths, or tongues...but she had a habit of forming a fake tongue and tasting things. All the things. Despite the wizard-y appearance, she was actually a healer and monk. The wizard accoutrements were a side effect of eating something she probably shouldn't have. I have not drawn a thing in a while and colored everything in a pretty lazy way, so pardon the gradient alternate shapes.

In honor of the Year of the Rabbit, I redesigned my Bun.
There are other reasons for the resdesign but they're not important yet, as I don't have anything to show for it...yet.
