yesterday was a big scare; almost died after a decline after his chest tap. They did emergency IV and oxygen to stabilize him and they detected an arrhythmia in his heart, which will need immediate medication to help.
anything helps. I’m full up on commission slots due to my health so I can only accept donations at this time. Thank you so much
I didn't want to sound so harsh, I was genuinely curious why you think like that, as I've seen that opinion across the fandom, and I don't understand why is good to underutilize characters. I don't want to fuck Rob Lucci, I'm just wondering if he's planning to drop their plotlines, like does the cp9 cover story still means something or?? And things like the future for Kid and Law and stuff like that.
i wasn't originally planning to give you any more of my attention, but i've got a cold and things have been boring so why not.
lucci isn't being underutilized imo, he's just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, doing a mission that was thwarted by the strawhats. so it's understandable that hilarity and hijinks ensue. and what do you mean "drop their plotlines"? they are literally having a plotline, actively in the series. and given that khalifa, jabra, and even by extension blueno. are canonically part of cp0, i think that's a signifier that their cover story hasn't been forgotten. i just think the weekly releases of egghead arc are making things feel disjointed and disconnected, instead of a single smooth reading.
on a different note though, lucci has always been in one way or another, just a little pathetic. the man was undercover for years by doing ventriloquism with a pigeon. he has frequent dick measuring contest style spats with jabra. sure he's the WG's massacre weapon and he's fairly strategically inclined, but i think he lets his unaligned bloodlust and violence fetish direct his thinking process. so he should've known better than to pick a fight again with luffy, especially considering luffy's newfound yonko developments. and his flippant struggling to try and find a way out of the mess in egghead while also being too blunt about his motives for any method to be effective is extremely on brand for his character (mr explains his entire evil scheme to the man he's been assigned to kill and then immediately forgets to effectively kill him)
so ultimately while egghead feels like a kick in the nuts as a lucci fan who loves lucci for his broody mysterious violent nature, realistically, i understand why it's happening. :P and he's still one of my ultimate favs regardless
