10/19/2020 Update Post

Hey everyone! This is a big update, a general "what's going on" and some other minor things. Nothing drastic is revealed here, simply telling you where we are in development right now!

[Discord Server Updates]

We have recently done just a few updates to our Discord server! Nothing major, but worth mentioning. 

We have updated our “#roles” chat in which you may now claim pronoun roles! This is long overdue. We have also updated “character roles” (these have been cleared - you need to reclaim them. Do not claim more than six please.) to include Wataru Sonada, our new cast member!

[Tumblr Account Updates]

I’m very slowly updating our Tumblr to look nicer! We’re still figuring up the assets to really get this going. For now, our header is by KikI and our sidebar art of Mariko Hanoi is done by worm! 

We have updated “credits” and will be updating “characters” with bios soon, and then later adding art as well!

[Art Team Updates]

Our art team has been hard at work.

Finalization of character designs has begun for most of the cast - except for a certain few who got a bit behind on the art chain.

Sprite art has begun for a certain few characters! Our sketch artists are working very hard to provide sprite sketches to our line artists. We hope to be releasing our first sprite of our protagonist Izanagi Rembutsu within the next week to two weeks!

We’ve been releasing a few promo arts (non-canon art featuring other fangans, other unrelated characters, and the characters together)!

[Writing Team Updates]

As of early today, our rough bios were completed! They will be going through our proof-readers to touch up and then we’ll go over them once more as a group and we’ll be releasing them under our characters tab as well as the cast chat on our Discord.

We are planning to begin our prologue in the next week or so.

So, what’s next?

Well, unfortunately, we’re still not ready for voice actors. I’m sorry! We’ll be ready soon. There’s a few major tasks we need to complete before even considering casting VAs. Basically - the sooner we get the last staff and assets we need, the sooner VAs will be cast. We hope to also gain the last few important staff members we need to make our project a reality. Here’s a few examples of what we have to do before VA casting; 

Prologue - Chapter 1 (Daily, Deadly + Trial) 

Complete All character sprites complete 

 All chapter CGs / Background Art

GUI art complete 

Music planned + possibly begun

That’s really about it, though! 

Thank you a ton for following our development and be sure to check us out on a few other platforms for more updates. :) We’re still not sure what we are - audio drama, video series, game, or whatever, we hope to release the best content we’re able to whilst having fun as a team and producing relatable and loveable characters.
