“Of course not.” Emmett mused with an grin, noticing that his wife had step closer then moving along with her toward the passenger door. “Ladies first,” He spoke with the opening of the car door then smiling an bit. Always an gentleman for his wife - he closed the door then moved around the car with an small few taps upon the hood before opening the car door to get in himself. Glancing toward her, his hands to the keys - he slowly turned it before hearing the engine start as it caused his bright smile. “Look at that.” He said in an confident tone. “Guess you are handy when I’m out of commission.” He joked, pulling out from the garage to speed down the road.

“right answer.” rosalie replied with a smirk. the blonde wrapped her arm around her husbands waist as they approached the vehicle. “always such a gentleman.” she teased him with a wink before hopping inside the passenger’s seat. she waited for emmett to do the same, her golden hues on him as he did. listening to the engine as emmett started it, a proud smirk spread across her lips. after hearing his words she playfully punched his arm. “you already knew that. in fact you know just how handy i can be, not only with cars.” the vampire expressed. “now what are we waiting for? let’s get this bad boy on the road.”

“Hey!” Emmett approached Tanya with an big grin upon his lips. He hadn’t seen members of the Denali clan for quite an while. “How are you?” He questioned first before asking the next question. “Is everything okay?” He looked to her.

“There’s not much to do in town of Forks anymore. Got any suggestions?” Emmett asked the nearby person on the bench, glancing toward them then back to his surroundings.

“i’m not the best person to ask that to. you probably know this place better than me.” the hybrid replied. she was still fairly new in town and didn’t know much about the recreational part of it.

“fancy seeing you here too, emmett.” alessa replied with a grin. the vampire was not close to them but she was familiar with all the members of the cullen family. “i’m here to get a new phone.” she added. “i might pick one or two movies though. i heard logan was good.”

“Do you need any help in here?” Emmett was bored in this house and the town of Forks. So, he decided to bother Esme an little bit. What fun would it be to see what his mother had in store for him. “Theres got to be something that I can do.” He teased.

esme was working on a sketch when she heard the voice of her adopted son. “i was just working, i don’t need any help with this, emmett. but thank you for offering.” esme replied with a warm smile. as he insisted the woman thought. “actually. there’s something you could do. i bought groceries for renesmee earlier, you can help me set everything in place.” she suggested.

“Oh? Well, I just grabbed a cup of coffee before heading to work. I like this place with their coffee.” Charlie admitted, standing near the counter inside the shop that he took Bella to one time when she stayed with him. “It’s the best.” He grinned then took an small sip.

“is that so? well i will take your word for it.” silvia replied with a wide smile across her lips. the golden eyes vampire had never tasted coffee, not even in her human days, but she enjoyed the smell of it almost as much as the smell of blood. “i don’t drink coffee. i’m only here to meet up with someone.” she stated.

Standing there over thirty minutes in the clothing rack, he had thought over and over about calling his daughter or Alice, even Rosalie over the phone to help him with the clothing. He knew girls loved clothes - he just didn’t know how to pick it up, not in with the fashion trends. “Hey,” He decided to ask the nearest person while holding up two hangers with two different t-shirts on them. “Do you know which is more in the trends?” He questioned, glancing to the two t-shirt’s then glancing to the person before him.

penelope had been shopping for a few hours and she somehow found herself in the male’s section of the store. she was going through the rack, trying to find a nice jacket. she looked up as she heard a voice call her. “oh hi. sheriff swan right?” the young girl inquired, eyebrows furrowing as she looked at the two shirts. “definitely that one.” she replied, pointing at the hanger on his left hand. she was still kind of unsure to why the male had approached her for fashion tips. but she was more than happy to be able to help him.

“Heeello,” Charlie spoke when stepping into the Cullen’s home with an bag of Renesmee’s clothes in hand. “Ah,” He grinned when he spotted Esme. “Just dropping off clothes that Renesmee called to let me know that she needed…. Wasn’t sure which one’s, so I brought them all.” He scrunched his nose a bit then look to his surroundings. He hadn’t been in the Cullen’s home many times - always curious what it looked like without an house filled with family during some holidays.

esme’s lips curled up at the sight of isabella’s father. “hello, charlie.” the woman greeted the sheriff. her eyes traveled down to the bag on his hand, as he explained what it was she reached for the bag. “well thank you for bringing it.” she thanked him and set the bag by the stairs for renesmee to pick up. “this child just loves leaving her stuff all over, doesn’t she?” esme said with a chuckle. “would you like some coffee?” she offered, it wasn’t every day that she got to have a one on one conversation with charlie.

Normally, this is where he would ask Alice on what to get Renesmee for her birthday, early this year. Alice would take him on a shopping spree, but he figured Alice would be busy and decided Rosalie would be the best second guest since Bella was also busy too. “Are you sure this is what Renesmee wants for her birthday?” He questioned while they walked through the mall.

it was a surprise for rosalie when charlie contacted her. she wasn’t usually anyone’s go to or first option when it came to stuff like this. yes she enjoyed shopping but not as much as her sister alice. when the sheriff mentioned it was for renesmee, the blonde simply couldn’t say no. she adored her niece and would do anything for her. as they entered the mall rosalie already had an idea on what to get. “i am positive, sheriff.” she replied as they approached the store.

Avoiding Renee is usually something Charlie favor, to watch her from the distant with Phil and always noticing with how beautiful she looked that time. Still, memories flooded back to when she took his daughter and shouted those words - his eyes falling to the floor when he leaned off the door with an drink in hand to head to another area in the room. It was an holiday for all the families to come together, though he didn’t really remember which holiday it was. He tok an seat upon the couch to watch the game that was on television, until he felt the couch dip next to him and knowing who it could be. “Hello,” He responded with an glance and an small curved smile along with an raise of his drink then taking an sip with his gaze to the television again.

the story of renee and charlie was one without a happy ending. it was beautiful at first and while it lasted. renee loved charlie and until this day she had nothing but love for the man; after all he had given her the most precious thing there is in this world; her child. leaving charlie all those years ago was still one of it not the hardest decision renee had made. ever since then they’ve barely ever met, the woman only saw the male on special occasions; today was one of those days. phil was working in the city so renee showed up on her own.  “hello, charlie.” renee replied to her ex husband’s greeting. “how’s life been treating you?” she inquired to start conversation.

Oh, I’ve been fine. Alice has been busy, so I haven’t spent much time with her – which you know can make me rather…anxious.”

rosalie nodded shamelessly. “yes, jasper. france again.” the blonde replied with a chuckle. “can you really blame me though? the country is incredibly beautiful.” she added. hearing him speak of alice the blonde vampire smiled. “see now why i felt so worried about emmett not being around? you are the exact same way about when it comes to being apart from alice.”
