PSA: HIATUS OVER

I'm surprised so many of you have still stuck around, even after my notice.

As of today, I am officially lifting my hiatus off of Nicholas St. North. With some time to clear my head and interacting with some friendly people from the fandom, I feel much more confident to handle and interact with North in this fandom.

I'll be spending today getting my bearings together with him, but otherwise, North is back with a vengeance! I can't wait to be able to interact with all of you once again~

I don’t know what’s going on either. I’ve gotten a few nasty anons on my Pitch account. I think it’s best just to ignore the whole deal and let the anons wear themselves out.

((Personally I think that's the best idea. Any strong response, good or bad, just feeds their urge to do it more. I think everyone should turn off their anon options tonight, especially if it's upsetting you.))

"Not lately. Though it always looks a littler livelier after touch of Christmas magic." He took a few steps toward the railings, now that his attention was partially on the work room. "I guess it does give it a newer looking quality."

He snorted softly before returning his gaze back to the earthen spirit. It certainly had been a number of years since she had came to his part of the world. "How have you been, Gaia? Busy in the world?"

With a bubbly little chuckle escaping the pine green lips, the Earthern spirit raised her hands up, palms facing towards North as if in a gesture of surrender, a toothy grin indicating it was simply all in good fun. Alas, he did not get as defensive as he would just some centuries ago. Calmer, more laid-back.  “Only teasing, North, darling,” she’d respond with a slight shrug, throwing a look of the jade eyes to where he had gestured. “Hmmm… I haven’t been here in years. Have you had fresh paint job done~?”

Dear Santa, why do you like carving ice so much?

Ah, good question! 

I mostly use ice carvings as drafts, different toy ideas for future production. Is very helpful for narrowing down good ideas from bad. Not to mention is just a lot of fun for me to do!

"Hm, wind is strong tonight..." North hummed. "This is good! Will probably make ice nice and thick. I have a lot of new ideas I need to care out!"

North nodded, raising a brow with a smile on his face. "We're ready for it of course. Is not my first year after all, Gaia." He gestured to the groups back to work at their stations. "Do no be fooled by the slower work pace. We make sure gifts for all relating holiday celebrations are ready by the the 23rd at the very latest. All is well."

Moving that slender, yet small pastel green hand to give the other a slight wave, Gaia let a smile of her own to grace her features in return. “Likewise, old man,” she teased, resting one hand on her hip. Not much room to talk about ages when one’s own bordered several millenias. Such quips were all in good fun. “I thought there is yet an Orthodox Christmas to pay homage to. This Monday, I believe… is there not?” she added thoughtfully, raising an eyebrow.

The bearded man let his mouth quirk up slightly at the sensation of the wind. "Must be from aftermath of the celebrations." He chuckled slightly as he turned to face the Earthen spirit. "Pleasure to see you again, Mother Nature."

“There have been some new faces since I last checked. Welcome!”
