I headcanon that Wukong (after gaining his immortalities) faked his death in front of Macaque, as a messed-up joke...

Poor Macaque cried and hugged Wukong's body.

A guilty Wukong immediately got up and confessed that was faking it.

Macaque punched Wukong so hard, that Wukong was knocked out for a whole day.

Wukong is willing to admit that he deserved that punch.

I'm terrible at updating this comic on tumblr! It's almost finished over on Insta now so I really need to upload a few more times before it is done. Also drawing in Macaque's art style continues to deal psychic damage to me. :3

Heyy sorry for taking so long. Lemme explain why-

I’ll keep it brief but I’ve been having a very difficult couple days, things got very hectic and ngl I’m still dealing with some stress. Not only that but the new school year has started and it’s very critical for me to be putting all my focus onto my work. That being said, I’m probably not going to be working on this comic for a bit-

Not a hiatus per se, more like a longer wait. Maybe I’ll share some drawings here and there, things that are less time consuming- and if I’m able to, maybe the continuing parts of this comic.
