love it when a recovering whumpee has a very bad coping mechanism that they fully collapse on. Is it self destructive? Sure. Is anyone going to say a word? no they just went through hell. Could be picking fights, could be drinking, a nicotine addiction— any kind of escapism really that at any other time their friends wouldn’t approve of. But now? My partner and I went to the Maritime Mueseum today in Darling Harbour, Sydney and explored the ships docked there. Wandered around and I found the infirmary which was very cool and my whump brain switched right on. Had to grab some photos for those whom this might inspire!
