Seriously? -Luckyyy~! Hazel eyes widened at his words, a subtle red tint even colouring her cheeks-- clearly she was pleasantly surprised by his answer. You see, the girl had half-expected the man to mess with her, because a service like this wasn't often offered. Even less to her, with her foreign looks. Wouldn't be the first time someone made fun of her in Glorious Nippon. Well, it wasn't the first time someone was nice to her either. Thankfully. "Thank you! --This counts for all first-timers?!" Ian had found this... mature man to look somewhat shady (and not just because he was wearing shades), but maybe he wasn't? Looks often deceived.
He blinked slightly, through his shades he still couldn’t get used to the surprising amount of energy that kids had these days. It brought a smile to his face, “Of course, since this is your first time here.” Clocking in a machine and opening the door for her, he pointed towards the bats and the baseball shooter she would be using, “Have fun, if you want another hour feel free to talk to me. It’s only 1000 yen.”

The brunette was initially not paying too much attention to who was talking to her, or what they were saying. More focused on exploring the building, you see. But she perked up the moment she caught the word 'for free', and immediately turned her attention to the older man with sunglasses, wide smile on her features. "Really?" Score. Ian wasn't really planning to stay here for two hours, but if the first hour was for free, then why the hell not? Her hands will have blisters by the time she'd finish those two hours of batting... But sport injuries never bothered her much. It was proof of her hard work or something, no?

The door chimed, and Mitsuyoshi looked up from his magazine to see new faces. “Welcome to the cage, I’ve never seen you before.. how about I let you bat the first hour for free.”

Papa Bears. The brunette stared at the letters displayed at the entrance of the restaurant. Reluctant to go inside, because what was up with that name. It might as well be a stripper's bar or something --those always had innocent-sounding names. Or so Ian thought, it wasn't like she had ever set foot in such a thing! But it was like that in... well, movies. Everyone knew movies were a very reliable source to get experience in life. Right. Maybe it was an underground base for mafia. Despite the many doubts she had, or came up with --the girl tended to overthink things a little--, it was the loud grumble from her stomach that got the last word. Well, that, and the vague realisation that she really was being a little too suspicious. But only a little. What awaited her inside weren't women is skimpy dresses, or intimidating men with guns in their violin cases (that's where those people hid their weapons, no?), was... a normal restaurant. Slight relief, even more so when she noticed that a girl of about her age approached her. No bear outfit though. Too bad, that'd be amusing. "Eh, table for one, please." She uttered, a little uncomfortable at the realisation that most people who went out for dinner went in a group, or at least with one companion. Oh, great, I'm the loner of the evening. Well, too late to turn back now. Wait- was this a fancy restaurant? Don't they only greet customers in the fancy ones? Would it be expensive over here? Ian rarely went to restaurants, she was very well capable of cooking herself. And restaurants were expensive. Too expensive for her poor nearly non-existent student wage. But today, she had noticed too late that her fridge was completely empty, so... here she was. In... Papa Bears. Why not Gummi Bears? At least the place didn't look too fancy -- no offence, of course. On the contrary, even. Fancy, expensive stuff wasn't her thing.

Gilda had been hard at work all day, but it seemed like the restaurant was finally starting quieten down. Instead of serving she had decided to pick up a broom and sweep around. While she worked she hummed to herself thinking of what she would do when she got in. At the moment her main plan was to get in and pass out. That sounded like a good idea to her. Behind the counter she knew they were saving food for her so that was sorted and at this time of the day that was the only thing keeping her going.
That was when the familiar noise of the bell rung and she looked over. Her blue eyes had slid over to Malcolm who seemed to preoccupied with some girls who she knew he did not care for. His eyes caught hers for a moment asking her to take the customer. With a quick nod she propped the broom up out of the way and bounced happily over to the door.
“Welcome to Papa Bears!~”
