Simon "Ghost" Riley and Riley The Doggo

Simon "Ghost" Riley is considered one of the best soldiers of Task Force 141, but what if he befriended a certain German Shepherd? Let's look at their story!

I recommend hearing the song "Found" by Jacob Banks while reading as I use this song as an inspiration!

- One day, Task Force 141 was sent to a town-turned-warzone area. Buildings made of stone crumbled down because of human-made explosions. After the battle had died down, Price and Soap sent Ghost along with Roach to sweep the area for any more hostiles.

- Instead, they heard a faint whimpering that was not... human. Ghost and Roach followed the sound, and it came from behind a large debris. The boys lifted the stone, only to find a little German Shepherd puppy whose body got stuck on the cracks in the ground.

- At first, Ghost wanted to leave the little creature be, but Roach couldn't do that as he saw his pleading eyes, begging for help. Ghost looked at the mutt, and his heart melted, so he finally helped him out of the cracks.

- Ghost and Roach poured water on the puppy to clean him up, then noticed that he had white marks on his nose. "Look, Ghost." "What?" "He looks like you" "...You sayin' I look like a dog?" "No, Mate. See these white marks on his nose? It kind of looks like your mask." "Oh." "Let's name him! Since he's you but dog version, let's name him after you." "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY--" "Riley. His name's Riley."

- When Ghost and Roach went back to Soap, he SCREECHED at seeing the dirty puppy. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! THROW THAT MUTT AWAY BEFORE I MAKE YOU BLOKES RUN AROUND THE BASE 50 TIMES AROUND!" Roach calmed his CO down and said, "Soap, Sir. We don't have to throw him away. He's a german shepherd, a perfect breed for military purposes. I don't see a reason why we can't have another member of the force who'd help us alert or track the enemy."

- Still, Soap denied as they don't have a K9 trainer. They'll have to train the dog themselves and who will take care of him? Who'll feed him, train him not to pee and shit on the floor, train him to KILL? Certainly not Soap.

- "GHOST WILL!" Roach shouted as his finger pointed at his best friend. "His eyes are fixed upon Ghost as he's the first person he sees, so maybe that's why Riley's so attached to Ghost." "YOU ALREADY NAMED HIM??" Before Soap could further argue, Price's voice entered the radio, "Simon, if you can make him useful for the team, then you can keep him. If you can't we'll send the muppet back to England, open for adoption." Ghost stared at Riley's eyes,

"Your call, Son."

- Despite Soap's disagreement, Ghost decided to keep Riley.

- It wasn't easy at first, as Ghost's past with dogs wasn't that good either. His father would take a feral dog home and locked him in a room with it all night. However, they became friends really quickly since the dog only wanted to follow Ghost. He's the one who feed him, let him live in his room, potty train him, and Price even invited one of his friend, a real K9 trainer to help him train Riley.

- Over time, Riley started to grow really big, and he's finally ready for the battlefield.

- Riley quickly proved himself in the battlefield as he's VERY useful. Riley can detect enemies, bombs, alert them, and even kill the enemies. Ghost and Riley were the most effective duo in the battlefield as they are both deadly, effective, yet silent. Price called them both "Blimey Rileys", and it stuck.

- Deadly Riley may be, but he's still A CUTE DOGGO to the TF141 boys. If Riley's not training, he'd play with the boys, follow them around, and full on be the goodest boi!

Drunk! Task Force 141

When the boys are not on duty, they can go WILD on the base sometimes. They'd hoard bottles of beer and drink like there's no tomorrow, throwing a once in a year party of barbecue. They said it was for "Staying alive for another bloody year." They could go as crazy as they can, because Price is their CO, and who dares to mess with Price? None.

Now, when they're absolutely intoxicated, the boys become a different person than usual. Here's a few drunk 141 caught on camera :

Roach is a jackass normally. When he's DRUNK, he's the Crazy Drunk. His jackassery went up another level, even sometimes endangering himself at times.

Roach would ask his superiors to break a bottle on his head, opening a bottle of beer with his teeth, or jump from a window. Some people thought that he'll not die in the battlefield, but die on a drunk state. He's not named Roach for nothing.

Soap is the Angry Drunk.

You DO NOT want to get close to this man when he's drunk.

Mind your own business and walk away.

As the father figure of the force, Price has this caring personality, albeit a tough love one. However, when he's not sober, he'd become a very affectionate person. He'd ruffle his subordinate's hair, hug them in a big teddy bear hug, even kissing their cheeks.

However, his affection doesn't stop on his boys. Price would also careess and kiss his beloved weapons. Don't even TRY to take away his weapons when he's giving it tender love and care. Just let him be and you'll be safe.

Ghost still wears his mask when he drinks, only taking it up until his mouth to drink. That's why when he's drunk,

Nobody knows.

He's a secret drunk. Fortunately, unlike Soap, Ghost is a Happy Drunk. Contrasting to his usual cold and mean personality, other soldiers prefer his not so sober state.

Ghost become unusually nice and happy. He'd laugh at every little thing, finding it funny for no reason, sing with them while circling his arms around his mates, even cook a mean barbecue. He'd also prepare everything from the grill to the sauce, even serving it to everybody one by one.

Enjoy this version of Ghost while it lasts, because when he gets hungover on the next day, it will be hell.

👻 Ghost's Eyeliner 👻

Head Cannon #3 :

Ghost wants the skin surrounding his eyes as BLACK as possible including his waterline, so he uses pencil eyeliner to color it to the absolute black.

Unfortunately, he has shaky hands and is still afraid of poking his eye so he spends most of his time on the face paint than gearing up itself.
