Olly was startled away from his book by a familiar voice, but the fright quickly subsided and he nodded his head at the chair opposite. “You know I’m not one to turn down free food, Ems.” Grinning, he dogeared the page he’d reached, folded his book away and glanced at the watch wrapping his wrist. “What brings you here so late?” Oliver questioned his new company, and wrapped his hands around the warm mug before him.

After yet another late night, Em found himself at the local coffee shop. Ordering the largest coffee they offered and a delicious looking pastry, Em looked around the crowded coffee shop to try and find somewhere to sit but there were no empty tables. Spotting a familiar face sitting at a table with a spare chair, Em weaved his way across the room. “Mind if I join you? I’ll even share my pastry”, he offered with a charming smile.
