I just watched the last episode and the documentary.

I'm so emotional, not just for the story but for my own journey with Young Royals. I randomly clicked play because I couldn't handle my dad being seriously ill and about to die. I just had to fill my brain with something. That something happened to be YR. My brain has blocked a lot of memories from that time, but appreciating a good story felt like a celebration of being alive and that feeling has stayed.

Today I clicked play on the last episode, and... I can't even comprehend how much has changed. Today I wasn't about to lose the most important person in my life. Instead, today it feels like spring. I have met someone who feels like he's about to be the most important person in my life. After all these years, after all these seasons. It's been such a full circle and now it's time to say goodbye and leave all of this behind. Time to have a fresh start.

It's like he's internalized that he's always disappointing someone. Either his mother, his dead brother, the royal court, the whole country, his classmates, his boyfriend, or himself...

Wille's letter will come back to the surface and bite us in one way or another

Whatever Felice said to the school inspectors will play a big role in the overall plot

Sargust endgame. Like, do we even need a confirmation to this anymore...

Did ya notice that Wilhelm looked extra RICH this season? The costume department really stepped their game up, more than ever and doubled down on the quiet luxury trend for Wilhelm. You can see how they blatantly conveyed the vast financial difference between him and Simon through their wardrobe. From their suits at Wilhelms birthday party, to their opposing outifts at their pre trial hearing....Even Wilhelms camping outfit looks like its straight out of a luxury outdoor brands ad campaign. The styling choices this season are simple, but very well executed.

I still can't believe young royals is coming to an end tomorrow 😭 This show has truly meant so much to me, it'll be so heart-wrenching to say goodbye to these characters forever...

Why the hell did Farima tell Wilhelm how Simon needs to not talk to journalists, basically post nothing on social media or answer comments and all this, why don't you have a professional talk to Simon about it instead of putting this responsibility on Wilhelm, makes NO sense

Thoughts? Did you like the season?

I actually did!

I obviously entered season 3 with a lot lower expectations than I did the last time, so I was pleasantly surprised... I luckily don't need to like Wille or see a wholesome relationship between him and Simon, to enjoy the show. I think it's overall tied nice together, and doesn't have the wtf moment like s2 did.

I do have a hard time seeing Wilmon endgame as a "happy ending" at this point tbh. Wille got less and less likable, and I think his and Simons relationship seems more and more distant. Yes they had a lot of sweet moments, but I feel Wille is getting more and more sucked into his world and has kinda lost his empathy for Simon? He seems more self centered than ever, and Simon is so alone. I really can't wait to see if they manage to turn this tanker around in a believable way in just one episode... Or if they will make endgame, but with us sitting back not believe they will last one second anyways bc nothing changed. Good thing it's just a fictional couple, bc yikes!

I really like the Erik twist. And that we got a little lurk into what happened before Wille at Hillerska. The irony of it all, is that August turned out to be the good guy. He got the biggest redemption arc and is more likable than Wille now (like wtf). Also his and Sara's relationship is the most healthy of them all and August love for Sara seems more genuine than Wille's love for Simon. Also Sara had the best storyline out of all the characters.

I feel like Sargust kinda became Lisa's Noorhelm... Which is kinda tragic in a queer show haha.
