Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.

Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.

So for those who are unaware, this style of clothing is the baro't saya or the Filipiniana in it's traditional form during the Spanish Era. I'm a very big fan of this and I just love how regal the dress looks especially with the lace.

i was looking for an entirely different dress but then i found THIS beauty of a dress. it's simple but beautiful (though i wish they'd done more with the hemline. if i could embroider i'd buy this dress and embroider the hell out of it)

i was admittedly lazy and used lace/embroidery brushes but also i gave them a lil hemline so huzzah

i did write like 5k today but that was while i was lounging on my phone in front of a fan

if tomorrow is kind tho i'm dismantling my current set up so i can at least move around my tablet and draw in cooler parts of the apartment (one roomie does art, we can jabber while i draw narinder and esriaal in dresses)
