FMP Final Presentation Video Titled “Here.”
There are a lot of things that I have learnt from this project. I learnt that it is important to have a proper planning and a good field research. It is also important to have a clearer vision and understanding of what you are doing. A good concept design is key.
As a 3D environment artist, it is important to have a good eyes for detailing in other to create a believable world environment.
There are still few things I still need to work independently, i.e., Learn more 3D sculpting.
It has been quite a journey in making this project. A lot of hard work and dedication. I am happy with the final production and I can not wait to start creating beautiful worlds in the virtual reality.

It is very important at this early stage of development to carefully review my concept design. I did not just use it as a guideline, but as a mean to solve an unforeseen problems.
As you can see from the first picture above, I Had to model a ridges and furrow as a path that leads the eye to the mud house.
Progress follows from here... Replaced the white box by importing assets and materials. 
Finally, I took a screenshot of the scene from Unreal Engine and a color look up table from Epic website into photoshop for color, brightness, color grading and shadow adjustment.The purpose of this is to set a mood. Probably evoke an emotion that can only be known to the viewers.
Foliage, Trees and Grasses are downloaded for free at Unreal Engine Marketplace. These assets are use to populate the scene.

FMP 
For my final major project, I will be creating a 2D concept art and a 3D environment which will be base around a Farmer/Hunter’s settlement in the southwest part of Nigeria, Africa. My goal is to visually tell a story about what goes on in a daily life of a typical Yoruba Farmer/Hunter tribe. The presentation for this project would be cinematic.
Above is a moodboard of some rural houses and some pictures that depict some of their daily activities.

2D concept design from rough sketches to final digital rendering
Above are the concept designs that I made for the Bald cat game.This digital painting started with a rough line sketch and later added a local color. I created a color pallet with different hues and saturation. Blocking in the color tones (shadow, mid color and highlights) or (foreground color, mid-ground color and background color) is very important in other to give the character or the environment volume and depth.

In the early stage of this live brief,  My task was to create a top down view of a concept design for the game’s environment. The pictures above showed both interior and the exterior of a house (room) and the streets.
