Saturday

It has been over three days since Tommy and Belinda met at the bar. They have been constantly texting and talking to each other on the phone day and night. Tommy always had the time to text and talk to Belinda whenever he had nothing else to do or whenever she was available.

Since they both don’t sleep early. He couldn’t get over the fact that he wanted to be next to her again already. He wanted to be next to her presence and noticed that he has been feeling comfortable around her. Every time they both talked or sent messages to each other, it’s like every day Tommy is getting to like and know her much better. One night ago, when Tommy was hitting some punching bags at the gym. He got a text from Belinda asking him “what are you up to,” while he was at the gym. At first, he felt hesitant to send her a picture of himself since he was only in his small black and white gym sweat shorts. He asked her first if it was ok to send a picture of himself and she said “sure why not 😊,” and so Tommy sent her a photo of himself showing his body with his shorts only on.

Belinda then saw the photo that Tommy sent and it made her feel so many butterflies inside, as she couldn’t help but love the way his body looked.

Tommy read this message, and it made him blush red. And laughed at her reaction to the selfie he sent to her that day. What surprised him the most was that she sent her a picture of herself without him asking.

After that day, they sent each other more photos and texts whenever they didn’t get the chance to talk on the phone. Tommy enjoyed it very much as every photo she has been sending him made him like her more and more with her beauty and bright personality. And to talk to someone like her made him feel less shy and just felt comfortable every second he talks with Belinda.

It was just another day at the gym on a usual Saturday evening, as Tommy continued to hit a couple of more punches on the huge punching bag. While his brother Brendon was busy training another customer on the other side of the gym, Tommy was busy thinking about finally seeing Belinda in a couple of hours. While he focused on concentrating on his breathing as he had his black headphones on as his favorite new song played. Which was the one that he heard the first time when Belinda put on her music that same night they first met. As he gave a few more punches to the bag, he then paused as he made his way to sit down on a flat, small black bench. He tried to steady his breath as he then took a huge sip of water from the black bottle he brought with him. As he looked up to see what time it was already, Tommy noticed it was almost 7 o’clock, and decided to lift a few more weights before leaving to meet Belinda. As he took another sip of his water bottle, he didn’t notice Gloria coming in his direction.

“Hey, Tommy, can I talk to you for a minute, and is it ok if we can talk in the back?” she asked, clasping her fingers together, feeling uneasy at the same time.

“Ummm, I got to be somewhere soon, but what do you want to talk about?” Tommy questioned her, feeling unsure about why she wanted him and her to talk alone.

“It will be quick. I promise I just would rather tell it to you only and I don’t want people to eavesdrop, you know? But can we talk for a bit, please?” she said in a more nervous tone while Tommy just let out a long sigh.

“Alright, but I have to go somewhere already. Come on,” he said, waving at his brother to get his attention. “Hey Brendan, I’ll be back soon. Gloria wants to speak to me about something. I’ll be right back.”

“Alright Tommy, no problem,” Brendon called out to his brother as he then went back to training with one customer.

As Gloria and Tommy made their way to the back of the gym where the lockers were. And as they got away from the main area of the gym, she then pushed Tommy inside one of the locker rooms. Before Tommy could react, Gloria then took in his lips as she placed her hands against his muscular chest. Tommy tried his best to push her back, but he then suddenly felt her hand grab his crotch as he let out a groan.

“No… no Gloria, stop what the fuck is this all about? Is this the reason you wanted to “talk”? Are you kidding me?” Tommy said as he removed her hand away from his crotch, while Gloria rolled her eyes at him.

“What Tommy? Geez, it’s been like what, almost a year not seeing you? You haven’t even bothered to call me or even go see me or something. Or even say at least a “hello” for once in your life, so don’t pretend this is all new to you,” she said as she placed her hands on top of his broad shoulders.

He just shoved her hands away from him, as he then paced himself back and forth, trying to not lose his mind. Tommy and Gloria have been exes for exactly 2 years and not one. Tommy knew the reason he left her in the first place and for a good reason. It was basically hell for Tommy since most of the time she was the control freak of the relationship. She would always constantly ask Tommy where he was and what he was doing. It made him feel irritated at first, but once he tried to talk to Gloria about this type of behavior. She would suddenly burst out at him, feeling offended that he thinks she was the problem of the entire relationship. And there were other times when Tommy and she would get in a fight. She would sometimes slap him hard in the face. Told him he was “useless”, “an idiot” but what hurt his feelings the most was the last strike for him. Was when she told Tommy that he will do nothing right in this world and was nothing but a curse upon his brother Brendon, his mother, and his once abusive and alcoholic father. He knew then that he had to break the chain between him and Gloria. But to make his heart even more broken is that he found out after breaking up with her. It turns out that she already had a child with another man while they were still dating. It seemed as if she was only concerned about herself wanting to sleep with any man she could get a grasp on. And never, for one moment, ever thought about seeing or being the mother she was supposed to be for her child. What Gloria saw the most was going out with friends herself and using Tommy for her pleasurable desires, knowing that he was a very vulnerable person.

“I don’t got time for this bullshit Gloria, really I have to go somewhere that is more important than taking with you,” he said as he unlocked his locker taking out his dark gray backpack.

Gloria took his backpack away from him, but Tommy was quick as he retrain one of the arm straps from his backpack.

“Come on Tommy, I know you still have some leftover feelings for me. Don’t lie to yourself on that baby,” Gloria said, tugging the backpack hard towards her, as Tommy breathed through his nostrils with anger.

Tommy thrust his backpack completely away from Gloria’s hand and made his way out of the locker rooms. But she was not done talking to Tommy as she stood right in front of him.

“Gloria… move out of the way or I’ll have to shove you to the side for you,” he said as he turned his hands tighten together into fists.

She gave a sly and ugly smile at him as she laced her hand again on his bulge area again. Tommy held his breath, trying not to get erect by her touch.

“You still remember the way my hand will be around your cock and massage you up and down. Telling me to go faster until you come all over my hand, hmm?” She said seductively as she rubbed him up and down against his shorts.

Tommy closed his eyes as a few groans came out, trying not to let himself grow against her hand. He was trying to think about other things in his mind when he suddenly saw Belinda’s face. Remembering that it has already become late to see her.

“That’s enough!” Tommy shouted as he pinned her hard against the wall, making her eyes grow wide in fear.

Tommy was breathing hard against his nostrils as he stared menacingly back at Gloria’s eyes. He then let go of her as he just made his way out, not saying another word to her.

Making his way out of the gym, Brendon then reached out to his baby brother, placing a hand on top of his left shoulder.

“Hey Tommy, what’s the hurry and hey you ok?” the older brother said as Tommy narrowed his eyes down to the floor.

“I’m… I’m alright Brendon, just I got to go see a friend already, and it’s getting late. Just… tell Gloria to not come back here again and if she doesn’t listen, then I have no choice but to call the police on her,” Tommy said as Brendon just arched an eyebrow at his brother.

“Did… did she say she wanted to come back with you again?” Brendon said as he looked back at where Gloria was leaning her side against the wall.

“You already know that’s the last thing I want to do with her. But I got to go now. She is waiting for me.”

“Is it the girl you’ve been telling me about these past few days?” Brendon asked with a small smile on his face.

“Yea, her Belinda, but I’ll see later. Brendon, you ok closing shop by yourself?” Tommy said as his brother nodded his head “yes”.

“Yea, yea, I’ll be ok. You go run, along have fun, and be safe, ok? Don’t you worry about me, I would rather see my baby brother happy. And don’t worry about Gloria, I got some things to tell her as well, ok?” Brendon said, giving him a side smile and wink and Tommy nodded his head.

“Catch you later Brendon and thank you I’ll be safe see ya,” Tommy said as he looked at Gloria one last time before he made his way out of the gym.

“Gloria, get the hell out and I swear to god if you don’t leave my brother alone. I will also have to call the police on you, you understand? Or you forgot that you have been nothing but trouble to both of us and especially to Tommy. Don’t you get it? We don’t want you, and so does Tommy. He has no interest in having you around in his life. So please get out of my shop,” Brendon said as he held open the door for Gloria, which she just rolled her eyes.

She then made her way out of the gym, but before she left, she gave another look at the older brother.

“You know something, Brendon? I’ve always liked you before, but now I see you differently. You can’t always be there for Tommy. He doesn’t help. He is a big boy, after all. But know this I’ll always stumble upon him when you are not around to look after him,” she said with an ugly smile as Brendon stayed silent as she walked her way down the sidewalk.

Brendon then closed the door behind him as he let out a long and defeated sigh. Now thinking about the safety of his little brother, knowing that woman is out there no matter where she will be.

“Baby, you ok? Did that awful woman finally leave you and Tommy alone?” Tess called out as she made her way to her husband’s side, making her husband

“Yea, I’m ok sweety, I just gave her a warning if she ever comes here or we have to call the police on her. But it doesn’t matter now, but you ready to go home?” He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist. She gave her a small kiss on the lips.

“I’ve been ready since I got here,” she said as they both chuckled together.

“God damn it, where is it?” Tommy said to himself as he rummaged around his room for the CD vinyl he bought for Belinda yesterday.

Belinda has mentioned to Tommy that she is a huge fan of collecting vinyl, pins, and goth accessories, and her favorite was plushies as long as they’re Halloween-related. Which he found very interesting and adorable to know more of Belinda’s likes. And it gave him the courage to ask her what were her favorite bands to hear the most. And that’s when he looked around at every record store he could find. Hoping he could find some vinyls to give her as a gift, feeling nervous if he picked the wrong ones out. He also, with some luck, found an alternative store that was a couple of miles away from his hometown. But it didn’t matter to him and ended up driving all the way to the store.

It was odd for Tommy to be in a store that wasn’t his sort of territory. But once he went inside, a nice and generous young woman in her darkly yet badass outfit then greeted him. He was shy at first, but once the girl helped him out with anything, he had questions on. He became a bit more comfortable as he asked her about what he was specifically looking for. And after he finished buying the stuff, he thought it would make Belinda delighted. He ended up getting her a black cord necklace choker with a small red rose charm. Along with a couple of pins that had the names of the bands she liked and his favorite was a silver raven skull ring. It brought a smile to his face and wondered about what her reaction would be like. But he knows deep inside his gut she would love.

Outside of his front house, both Freddy and Belinda were pulling up to a park. And as Freddy put the engine in park, she then texted Tommy that they were already outside.

“You know what I’m going to knock. I’ll be right back Freddy,” Belinda said as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

“Sure thing, just hopefully we don’t miss the first song Lethia will sing,” Freddy said as he looked at his wristwatch, feeling nervous to miss out on the first few minutes.

“Yea, I know. Just give me a sec, ok?” Belinda said as she closed the door behind her as she walked up to the front door.

And as she knocked a few times on the wooden door, she waited for Tommy to answer the door. As the door opened, an older man, who had a raspy voice when he spoke, greeted her at the door.

“Can I help you with something, miss?” He asked Belinda while she then cleared her throat for a moment.

“Yes, well, good evening, sir. My name is Belinda Tommy’s friend. I just wanted to know if he’s home,” she said while the old man nodded his head with a grunt.

“Wait, hold on Belinda, you said right? Yea, yea, my boy talked to me about you and said you and your other friends are going to a little gig close to here. Well, it is very nice to meet you, honey. I’m Paddy,” he said as he stretched out his hand to her as they both shook hands.

“Yes, that’s me, and yea, we are going to go see my friend sing right now and we are kind of running late. But it is also nice to meet you too, sir,” she said with a smile on her face.

“Yea, I think my boy is gettin’ ready, but I’ll go get him for you. And would you like to come inside since it’s chilly out here tonight?” Paddy said as he gestured a hand for her to come inside.

“No, I’m actually quite fine. Thank you, sir.”

“Please call me Paddy. No need for you to call me sir anymore. Only people who have to call me “sir” are old people like me,” he said jokingly, making Belinda chuckle a bit. “And what I’m doing, I’ll get my boy for you. Give me a moment.”

“No, it’s all good. Take your time Paddy. I’ll just wait for him out here,” she said with a smile as Paddy nodded his head.

As Paddy made his way upstairs to go get Tommy, he then called out his name.

“Tommy, Tommy, your friend is here for you now,” he said as he made it to his son’s room, giving it a few knocks.

Tommy then opened the door, and he stood in front of his dad.

“Shit, she’s here already. Fuck Ummm dad, by any chance you got a bag for the vinyl?” Tommy asked, as both of them made their way downstairs.

“Yea, there’s plenty in the drawers by the kitchen counter. Is that something for her?” Paddy asked as Tommy opened one of the larger drawers in the kitchen.

“It is for her and I’m a dumbass for not getting at least a nice-looking bag to gift her with,” he said in an irritated tone, feeling stupid for not remembering such a small and simple thing.

“Hey Tommy, come on my boy, it’s alright. I’m pretty sure your friend will appreciate the gift very much. Now, don’t let yourself down right now and go to her. Now she’s outside. And have fun ok, I want to see my son with a smile on his face while you give her your gifts. Be safe, ok?” Paddy said as he placed a hand on Tommy’s right shoulder with a smile on his face.

“Your right, Pops. Thanks for the bag. I’ll be back soon. And please call me if you need anything, ok? I’ll catch you later,” Tommy said as he placed the big CD vinyl inside a shopping bag including the pins ring, and choker necklace.

Belinda was sitting on the small stairs outside of his house. She then heard the door open behind her. Standing up on her feet, Tommy then closed the door behind him as he was holding the bag in one hand. As he looked in her direction, he then smiled at her while Belinda return the smile as well.

“Hey… I’m sorry for keeping you waiting. I… I got some things for you I hope you like,” he said as he handed her the bag with her gifts inside. “And ignore the shopping bag, my dumbass forgot to get a proper gift bag than that.”

“Tommy, it’s alright, I think it’s cute,” she said as she looked inside and let out a small gasp.

She then saw the vinyl record cover of her favorite band, Bauhaus, in the front. She then saw the small pins that made her smile big and what caught her eye the most. Was the small red rose choker necklace as she took it out of the bag.

“Do you like them?” Tommy asked nervously as he waited for a suitable reply or an awful one.

“Oh, Tommy, this is… this is all so wonderful. You shouldn’t have bought all of this for me. Why did you do this?” She asked as she looked at the rose choker in her hands.

“Because why not, you know? I just thought it would be nice to get you stuff you like so much. And I wanted to surprise you, too. I just hope you know you deserve to have nice things and because…,” Tommy said as he drifted a bit off with his words as he became nervous about what he wanted to say next.

“Because what Tommy? Hey you know you can tell me anything, right?” Belinda said as she placed a hand against his left arm, and he nodded with a shy smile.

“Yea, I know it’s just… your, you're the best friend that I have ever had so far in my life. And I mean it so much because you’re the best thing that has ever stumbled upon in my life. And I’ll never get over it. Thank you for being a good friend, Belinda,” Tommy said as he placed his hands inside the pockets of his black jeans, feeling his face blush red.

“Awww Tommy I appreciate that very much, you also have been the best person to come into my life as well,” she said as she placed a small kiss on the side of his left cheek making Tommy flinch a bit at this unexpected reaction.

They then were interrupted of their moment by Freddy, who honked his horn at them.

“Hey guys, we are running late. Come on!” He said, popping his head from his driver’s window.

“We, we should get going, but thank you for all of this Tommy. really this is all lovely,” Belinda said still having the choker necklace in her hands.

“Yea, you're right, and you're welcome, Belinda. Do you want me to put the necklace on you?” Tommy said as he pointed to the choker in her hands.

“Sure, that would be nice. Thank you, Tommy,” Belinda said with a small chuckle as he then took the choker from her hands as she turned her back towards him.

Tommy felt in awe at seeing how she looked tonight with her long black sleeve maxi dress. With her black straight hair hanging to her waist and was wearing some black lipstick on her lips while wearing the same black eyeliner from the first night they met. As he placed the choker necklace around her smooth neck, Tommy caught that same hint of lavender perfume she put on. He found the smell very welcoming and relaxed all at once again, which he liked very much. As he finally clasped the choker around her, she then smiled back in his direction as she caressed the rose charm with her fingers.

“You look beautiful Belinda. It goes very well with the dress you wearing really you are very breathtaking,” Tommy said as Belinda could feel her face go warm as the sun.

“Thank you, Tommy, very much. That’s very sweet of you. Should we get going?” Belinda said, nodded her head towards the car.

“You lead the way Dracula Girl.”

As the trio made it just in time as they walked their way inside the club called The Raven Claw. They then heard some songs playing from the entrance as they all speed walked inside the building. As they made their way through the semi-full crowd, Belinda then saw her other friends, Jarlath and Morticia, in the far right corner next to the stage. As the three made their way to the front, Belinda then hugged her best friend.

“Belinda, Freddy, you guys just got here on time. Lethia got worried that you guys weren’t coming in time. But I’m glad you guys made it,” Morticia said cheerfully as both girls hugged each other.

“Well, Lethia should always know we will always be here to see her. How can I not miss a night when she sings, you know,” Belinda said as she leaned back from the hug they both shared.

“Good thing I betted $5 with Morticia in thinking you guys would make it before 8. So guess what girly you got to pay up,” Jarlath said with a smirk on his face, which Morticia just shook her head with a chuckle.

“Hilarious Jarlath, and is it me or who is that big muscular man behind you, Belinda,” Morticia said as she nodded her head towards Tommy, who looked around the vast room filled with people dressed all in black.

“That’s Tomy, the one I’ve been telling you these past few days. I’ll go get him, be right back,” Belinda said as she walked her way towards Tommy, who he felt was a bit out of place.“Hey Tommy, you ok?” she said with a concerned look on her face as she placed a gentle hand against his right arm.

“Yea, I’m fine just… just feel out-of-place like I don’t feel like I shouldn’t be here. Like I’m a trespasser, which I’m sorry if I feel this way,” he said, feeling embarrassed for saying such a thing to Belinda.

“Hey, hey Tommy, don’t say that you’re fine, and believe me, I know that feeling. I was like you when I came to this place for the first time. But you should know about one thing: nobody here cares about who you are or how you dress. And overall you are here to have a good time and maybe you might make new friends here. You might never know how much you have been missing out,” she said with a smile on her face, which made Tommy feel more comfortable than he was a moment ago. “My friends would like to meet you and hey if you feel uncomfortable or anything, let me know, ok?”

“Sure, I’ll let you know. Let’s head over with your friends then,” Tommy said, giving a small smile to Belinda as she took his large hand in her small one.

As Belinda and Tommy walked through the now more crowded dance floor, they then reached her other friends. Where they were busy laughing and talking as Morticia saw Belinda with Tommy behind her.

“Hey guys, I like you to meet Tommy. Tommy, these are my other friends Morticia, and Jarlath,” she said as Tommy waved in their direction.

“So you’re the Tommy that she has been speaking to me about this entire week? Belinda, I thought he was going to be bigger than you first describe him, but he is a giant that I can tell you,” Morticia said in awe as she looked at him up and down, being blown away by his physical structure.

“Wait, I’ve seen this guy before. Aren’t you the one who knocked every fighter with one hit in that Sparta tournament?” Jarlath said while he held his bottle of beer in his hand, pointing a small finger in Tommy’s direction.

Tommy only stood quietly as he shyly nodded his head at Jarlath, and Belinda placed a gentle hand behind his back. He looked at her sideways, giving Belinda a side smile, knowing that he felt uncomfortable.

“Man, I got to say I have so much respect for you, man, and also thank you as well for your service. Heard you were also in the Marines too and again you did really kick so much ass in that tournament for sure,” Jarlath said while he made a soldier salute to Tommy, and he returned the gesture.

“Thank you. I very much appreciate that coming from you. I talk little about my time in the service but never thought someone like you would mention that,” Tommy said as he felt a bit more relaxed as Belinda still had a hand behind his back.

“You were in the Marines? Belinda, why didn’t mention that part to me before? And Jarlath is right, too. Thank you for your service. My father also served in the Marines when he was in his 20s but it’s amazing you also fought in that MMA tournament too,” Morticia said while giving a small smile at Tommy, giving her a small nod.

“Well, that’s very kind of you both to say these things, and yea, I did that competition till the end. I entered the tournament for myself and for other reasons too, but yea it was fun mostly,” Tommy said as Jarlath, Freddy, and Morticia gave a few nods and smiles in return.

“But that’s great man, you should be proud of yourself,” Freddy chimed in as he raise his glass to Tommy as a way of showing respect to the bulky man.

Once everyone got to speak with each other a little while longer, the background music then turned off and a young man got up on stage as he spoke through the microphone.

“Hello everyone, thanks a lot for coming to tonight’s show. Sorry for the delay. We had some malfunctions backstage. But with no further do, tonight’s singer will be once again the beautiful Lethia and The Silent Souls. Let’s give her a round of applause, everyone,” the spokesperson said as everyone cheered for Lethia and the band’s entrance as Morticia and Jarlath cheered the loudest in the crowd.

“Whoa, Yea Lethia!” Jarlath exclaimed out loud as Belinda also gave a loud cheer as well, making Tommy chuckle at her holler.

Once Lethia sang her first song with The Silent Souls, everyone bobbed their heads or dance to the rhythm of the music. Belinda was swaying her head slowly from side to side as she had her eyes closed as the music progressed ever so flowingly. Tommy remained in his posture like a statue as he was busy looking at Belinda, dancing her heart out as a small smile spread across her face. He found this site bewildering, a daydream, and wonderful all at once, feeling as if she was a goddess herself. She then swayed her arms above her head while moving her hips from one side to the other. Tommy, without noticing, got into the beat of the music as he bobbed his head slowly up and down. Belinda glimpsed him as he slowly swayed his shoulders as she continued to dance more progressively.

After what felt like an hour went by, Lethia and the rest of the band played their last song. But before they called it a night, she then unexpectedly announced something that made Belinda get surprised.

“Thank you so much for coming tonight. I also want to leave another encore song for you all. I want to bring my best friend Belinda up to the stage since she is a singer like me. “Hey Belinda, don’t be scared. You got this, I know you do. You got this,” Tommy said as he placed an arm around her shoulders, stroking her right shoulder with his hand.

Belinda then felt a bit more relaxed as she stared into Tommy’s gaze, and she then nodded her head as she bravely made her way up to the stage. Lethia then took her hand as she then placed the microphone back on its stand as she then walked off to the side. Belinda was nervous to speak as she held the microphone in her hands, while the crowd gave cheers and words of encouragement here and there.

“Ummm, well thank you, Lethia, for bringing me up here didn’t expect for her to call me up this evening,” Belinda said as she eyed her friend to the side where she was standing behind some drumsticks. “And as she mentioned before, we’ve both worked on a song together that we thought would be something worth taking for you all to hear. But I hope you all enjoy the song and the name of the song is called Deranged For Rock’ N’ Roll.”

As the crowd cheered once more, Belinda then picked up a black acoustic guitar to her left side as the band prepared to play the song. The whole floor room went quiet as they waited for the song to began, as she strapped the guitar over her left shoulder. Belinda took in a deep breath through her nose as she went up to the microphone.

As all the instruments played together as one, some people in the crowd cheered some more. The unexpected voice she possessed enthralled Tommy’s half-opened mouth and eyes, as Belinda continued to sing her heart out.

Tommy then closed his eyes as he was now hypnotized by her voice as he swayed his head slowly from side to side. Felt that sense of being in another universe, seeing a world where he and Belinda would share alone together. Picturing her with a long white dress while wrapping an arm around her waist as they see a nice sunset in the distance. Resting their heads against each other as Belinda smiled up at him, giving her a small kiss on her forehead.

When the song came to a full end, the crowd went into roaring applauses with many “whoas” here and there. Belinda took a small bow as Lethia and The Silent Souls did the same gesture, and Tommy clapped as he gave a bright smile at her. As she felt her face blush red hot at how lovely and supportive he is being to her, not knowing if she really deserved so much love or not. As she and Lethia made their way down the stage, Morticia, Freddy, Tommy, and Jarlath cheered again for the two women.

“You guys that was fucking sick, why didn’t you guys do this sometime earlier back? Belinda, your voice man that was mind-blowing,” Freddy said as he wrapped an arm around her while Belinda chuckled at these positive words.

“Yea Belinda, that was great. See, I told you, you have a voice of an angel,” Morticia said, making both girls chuckle at this.

She then eyed Tommy as he approached her side, still feeling impressed as a smile grew on his face.

“Why have you never mentioned you being a singer and a musician? That was fucking beautiful and out of this world. You should be proud of yourself. I never thought you would be something more special than what you showed up there,” Tommy said as Belinda looked down on the wooden floor, trying to restrain a smile.

“It’s nothing really Tommy, it is just something I enjoy doing and try my best to hide it. But I’m happy to hear you liked it very much. Thank you, again you're really sweet,” she finally said as Tommy placed a small hand against her left shoulder.

“You should never hide it Belinda. instead embrace it and don’t let your fear get the best of you. Because it’s amazing and a gift that you should cherish so much. Be proud of yourself for that,” he said as he caressed his thumb against her arm, which made her smile big.

“Hey, you guys, to celebrate this night. Drinks are on me tonight. The night has just begun for us,” Jarlath said as the group of friends scream some “yeas,” and cheers again.

“Shall we join them, Werewolf Boy?” Belinda said, giving a nod and a wink in Tommy’s direction.

“Hehe why, of course, Dracula Girl, because it is your night after all, eh?” Tommy said as he gave a wink back, making Belinda chuckle at this exchange, as they made their way to the bar.
