Disengaging
Hey, so we haven’t been on in a while. This is intentional. Most likely, we aren’t going to be using tumblr much, if at all, in the future. Without going into large amounts of detail, as there are many reasons why we find this site to be so unfavorable, using this website is not only time-consuming, but very stressful. We’re at a point in our life where we need to focus on constructive, non-stressful activities and tumblr has not benefitted us in quite some time. We joined back in 2013 and since then tumblr has gone from a pastime to a more stressful, unhealthy and almost obsessive habit.
We’ve been on this site long enough by this point. We need to focus on art, and using tumblr is directly opposed to us being able to spend time engaging in art-creation, and after December we can no longer use this website as a platform to share it. Tumblr is useless to us now, that’s the raw truth of it. The only option is to severely curtail usage of the website in lieu of more favorable activities such as reading and drawing. It’s been long enough that tumblr can offer us nothing new, and, let’s face it, this place has been going downhill for a while.
It’s time to move on.

“How’d I get in this lightbox?” wonders this captive New Mexico spadefoot toad [Spea multiplicata] owned by the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. They don’t realize it, but they’re providing a valuable service as a model for Joel Sartore’s Photo Ark project. These toads are commonly found throughout the southwestern United States as well as parts of Mexico.

WHAT A DRAMA QUEEN! 😒😂
I went a few days without watering (top is before, bottom is after watering). This is my first first time having a plant do this to me and I about had a heartattack!
