I just noticed and it's breaking my heart so I'm going to point it out, while singing "What It Sounds Like" Mira and Zoey were fighting the other Saja Boys but Rumi was just walking towards Jinu and she was smiling at him. She wasn't going to fight him she was going to reach out to him again to try and save him.

And the lines she sings while looking straight at him as she's walking foreward through the battle are "Show me what's underneeth, I'll find your harmony. Fearless and unrefined, this is what it sounds like."

Jinu is the only one we've seen has a confirmed music background so did he have to research, train, style, and manage the group by himself???? Okay but what's really cool is that you can see these artists really studied the performance aspects of Kpop. The way the promo video is filmed. The variety shows, the fashion of Huntrix, and especially the performance of Saja Boys (since we saw more of their performance whereas we saw the fighting aspect more for huntrix). I mean they really really nailed the performance aspect.

Like in soda pop; the debut was refreshing fresh and charming therefore the gazes were softer—the part where Abs guy brings down his collar for a second for the "refreshing" part of the lyrics— that would actually be a well thought out choreography in real life (reminscent of Txt, Tws, BND, NCT dream, Riize, and Pentagon in their early days).

And then their second song—Your Idol—was darker and therefore their gazes changed (hungrier and sensous) and their moves were sharper (with literal claws). Kpop HAS that duality in gaze. And especially when the rapper (Baby Saja?) brings his claws down his face for the "fame made me viral" part? Adlib definitely (reminscent of Ateez, Enhypen, Monsta X, Stray Kids, Seventeen, The boyz, Onlyoneof, Pentagon, Exo, NCT and Big Bang—especially in the rap aspects—and Got7). THEY REALLY NAILED IT.

TELL ME HOW AI CAN REPLICATE THIS. THAT'S WHY HUMAN ARTISTS WILL ALWAYS BE SUPERIOR

Okay, with the new KDH Jinu art out it’s time to do a bit of a closer look:

Firstly, 100% an absolute cat dad

Second, LOOK At This Absolute Fckin DORK (lovingly) his goofy lil faces and his sassy lil face at the end is giving me the cuteness aggression. I just wanna cup his face in my hands and call him “pookie” & “my little princess” repeatedly. 🥹

Finally, THESE faces, the 1st looks like he’s still goofing around probably in a fight with Rumi while also flirting with her. But the 2nd & 3rd faces that boy is MAD. Like I’m thinking in the final fight the Big Bad injuries/ attacks Rumi making everyone else think she was k*lled and Jinu just loses it. Or maybe in a calm before the final fight we get a bit of angst and backstory between Jinu & Rumi. After Rumi goes to fight the big bad leaving Jinu alone, later during the middle of the final battle Rumi is about to get sneak attacked when, wouldn’t ya know, Jinu shows up with the rest of the boys and fights alongside the girls.

Rafayel’s bitterness suddenly makes so much sense — and even though the myth isn’t released yet I feel like the trailer gave more than enough to allude to several things.

I suppose bitter might be a harsh term to describe things, but Rafayel harbors this level of brattiness. An over dramatic flare that leads many in this fandom to portray him as childish and/or flamboyant.

This idea that he’s dramatic and giving MC a hard time just because… that’s what “bitterness” I’m referring too.

Not only did MC sacrifice herself in order to make sure the sea god does not meet his fated doom — she used his own weapon and forced his hand to grasp it as she drove it into her chest and effectively severed their bond.

There is such a range of emotion on Rafayel’s face in that time span — disbelief, anger, heartbreak. That quick defiance as he lunges for her, cradling her as he proclaims he won’t let things end like this. And yet she’s dying fast, too fast for him to even attempt anything.

The horrified heartbreak that flashes in his eyes when he realizes there is nothing he can do as her eyes close for the last time and her body goes limp. The god of the sea was unable to save his beloved and defy his fate.

Clinging to her body as the tale writes itself exactly as promised, she becomes one with the sea and vanishes from his embrace. Now, his beloved is truly gone.

Rafayel sits there in shock, tears sliding down his cheeks and dropping into the water below him. Not only did it happen, but it happened so quickly that his mind is reeling to catch up. One minute you were alive, you were warm and breathing and real before his eyes.

Sixty seconds later you are gone, a mirage in the ocean water, as if you never existed in the first place. Then, after all that, you wait 800 years to return to him.

If I were Rafayel, I’d be pretty bitter too.

I didn’t plan on pulling for this myth, especially since a multi banner is following… but the trailer has me so captivated that I can’t stop thinking about it. As a Sylus main I must stay strong because I can’t let my 100% streak die… but Raffie—

A personal review of Burrows End!!! Because I just finished it and have so many thoughts.

Watching the family dynamic of Burrows End is like continuously being hit with +15 psychic damage every episode. I am sooooo. It's actually incredible how well everyone gets into character, fully embracing character flaws and everything. Izzy and Siobhan especially, I was watching like wow, these are Children. Little Gremlins. It's very entertaining, and really fun how they work together and really do embody that hyper energy. Also really fun to watch Brennan Gentle Parent them as a tired but incredibly patient and loving single mother.

And Erika!!!!! Incredible. In absolute awe. Emotionally repressed grandma that really does have to believe that you have to have control over the consequences that befall you through your own decisions, because what else would you have to acknowledge if not that you cannot have complete control???????? That episode where the entire family confronts Ava really got my heart strings and seeing Rashawn shedding tears got my own flood works going, because it was such a beautiful way to say you have hurt my feelings, without digging into personal insults. I find it really gorgeous that Erika put themselves in that character and really dig into that idea that you had to force Grandma Ava into emotional vulnerability, because that wasn't something she was gonna budge on, and everyone at the table was on board to do that with them. Unfortunately for me I do not play DND, but I imagine it takes a lot of emotional fortitude to play a game and character where you have made the decision that, yes, as a character I will be an obstacle to the entire party, and that a deeply emotional confrontation with everyone will be necessary. Just. There was a lot of catharsis for me watching that. I really love that their decisions tie in with their character backstories, and realising that oh, Ava blames herself for not being there for Kenji, and just. URGH. I'm getting emotional thinking about it.

I like Burrows End. A lot. A LOT. They really balanced the comedy and horror really well. They do a lot of bits as a family and play off each other, but the terror is still so real and ever looming, like a permanent shadow in the corner of the room. I have an incredible amount of love for Never After, but I think Burrows End was truly terrifying for me. The confusion, the terror of not knowing is really what got me, trying to figure out what was going on and being limited by the world limit of what a stoat understands.... Yeah, truely fucking terrifying. On the edge all the time. Also, the body horror. That bear and the parasitic chipmunks fucked me UP. I really enjoyed watching Aabria take off more and more pieces from this grotesque sculpture, to reveal even worse stuff underneath. The mix of disgust, revulsion and terror was so good.

Nothing, however. Absolutely nothing could have prepared me for the fucking Pheobe statue. That shit was crazy. I was also fucking screaming when I saw it. One - it's fucking huge. Two - it's so. How do I even describe that. I think what really gets me in horror are things that look raw and unnaturally soft. Or you know that despite how horrific it is, it looks like the horrific creature is in pain. Like, that used to be just a normal human guy, before Pheobe took over. And he's got.... Meat.... Sleeves..... Just, flesh pink and exposed flesh, exposed bones, the empty EYE SOCKETS ERUGH and the little stoat body just, sitting in the mouth. That crawls up and down the throat, and goes in... Wherever...... It's uncomfortable to look at in a way to pulls at my sympathy, which is really neat. Maybe that is why Burrows End really is so interesting to me. They do it with the Bear, who is only alive because of the parasitic creatures inside, and Meat Wolf, and it happened to me with that one Pinnochio friend that has clearly outgrown all his clothes and Toy Island and is in pain from it, but mentally cannot acknowledge or mature enough to say it in anything but a really creepy expression of childishness.

Anyways I really love Burrows End and had absolutely so much fun watching!!!!!!!!! Absolutely incredible, I have so much love and respect for the whole cast. I have so many thoughts I haven't even touched upon......

I HAVENT EVEN WATCHED THE SHOW???????? WHY AM I OBSESSING OVER THIS WOMAN AND HER TOXIC YURI SITUATIONSHIP??????? It's most definitely the parallels that I see with her and my own mother that are haunting me like little flies that flit around a rotting body. Now I am curious to watch the show....... It's actually incredible how quickly this consumed me. Discovered Marble Arch by Erin LeCount through this and my god, is that the most hysterical feminine rage song I have ever heard in my entire life.
