He sighed taking a flask out if his jacket and drinking from it before putting it back. He closed his eyes and nodded "I realized how stupid and selfish if me that was now, and I am truly and deeply sorry. I Know I can't undo what I have done but I Still want to help you...I still Love you Stella that will never change you are still my friend and I still care...and I want Note gone just as much as you do" he sighed and paused for a moment "Adam? Not August? So the person who saved you is not the person you kissed...I see..." He felt foolish now "Nora used my Jealousy to get to me the last time we talked and as soon as that ended I ran to my room in the village and found a spell that binds a sorcerer to an object..." He dug Into his pocket and took Out a necklace "I know you won't take my help and I know things with us will never be the same but I am on your side and I want you to take this.." he hesitantly too her hand and placed it in side her palm "I am bound to it by blood, as well as a ring for your brother and a bracelet for your sister." He sighed "you don't have to wear them but if Nora tries anything else I want you to be able to get to me easily and quickly. I wasn't here before but I am here now and I want to make it right. Please give me another chance...and let me helped you get rid of my sister"

Stella, I want you to know I had nothing to do with that and I couldn’t risk guessing what spell she had used to make it so I couldn’t see, hear, or find you, it could have made you time in that maze longer. She has already hurt me…and thats because I wouldn’t help her with any of this… I’m certain It means nothing now but I am truly Sorry for everything…Leaving you….twice, letting Nora get to you and your brother. I should have found you the second I saw Nora…but I was scared you wouldn’t believe me…” He watched as she took a drink from the bottle in her hand “I know I’m the last person you want to see but I have something for you…something that will help keep Nora from hurting you…your family ” 

“I’m a lot drunk and you’re full of crap. I would rather that you tried to find me and kept me there longer than me stay there and think you forgot about me. I really want to feel bad for you that your sister hurt you. You’re not like her, I know that, but I’m so–” she clenched her fist at her side, shaking her head. “You left me right after saying you loved me, after sleeping with me. Do you know what that does to girls? I had no idea how terrible that feels until you left. And,” she held up her index finger as if she were teaching a room full of students, her words slurring slightly “I would have believed you. You’re not the last person I want to see. That spot is reserved for your darling sister. And now you want to help,” she raised a brow at him. “For the record, Adam was my friend, that’s all. I was being nice, but all that’s ever done is made me painfully single and trapped in random mazes.”

"then look at it as an insurance policy, or a back plan. Nora will always try to be one step ahead of you. If something happens before or during your plan you'll at least have it. I can hold her off long enough to let you get away or even help you get the drop on her..." Gilen shook his head "Nora has nothing to use against me except you, Stella, and Gabriel." He dropped his head down "You've been more a family to me than Nora and Ivy ever could" he sighed. "I want Nora Taken care of just as much as you do... please let me help make things right"

“w-what…Gabriel, I knew about but you…damn it…She’s getting faster. stronger, Here.” he handed the blonde a bracelet with a small charm attached “I should have given this to all of you the second I saw Nora but the spell was tricky” Any time you feel like your in danger the bracelet will know and I won’t hesitate to show up…I’m bound to it…to all of them” he took out a ring and showed it to annalise “Stella has a necklace similar to your bracelet and this ring for Gabriel, its bounded by a summoning spell bounded with my blood….you call for me and I will be there…I want to make things right, I might not get Stella back the way I want but I do want us to be friends again and now that Nora has gotten to all of you I can’t stand back and pity myself anymore” 

Annalise took the bracelet, holding it in the palm of her hand with a puzzled look on her face. “Gilen…” She didn’t really know what to say. “I appreciate your will to help, but… We have a plan. Stella, Gabriel, and I. We’re going to take care of Nora ourselves.” Shaking her head, she clutched the bracelet in her hand. Not wanting to be as rude to just hand it back to him, she kept it, though she hardly thought that she would use it. “If you’re around, then Nora would use that to her advantage.”

“I left so I wouldn’t hurt her. I was angry at her brother for something he so blindly did to me long ago. I also needed to be stronger for her I blacked out the last time I tried to save her...now, my sister, is here and She has already tried to kill her once and I am afraid I can’t protect her nor so I think she wants my protection”

Like that August boy?” Nora knew it wasn’t what her brother wanted to hear, but she figured that he deserved to know. If his heart got broken in the process, it was for his own good. He could call her a monster all he wanted, but she had his best interest at heart. “Oh, don’t take it out on poor August. He seems a little daft, and he can’t help it.” She wasn’t scared of her brother, at least she wasn’t scared of him all of the time. Besides, she didn’t think Stella would actually die. “Fine,” she replied, the plant letting him go, but not before the vine slapped him across the face and disappeared into the ground.

“I left on my own accord, and maybe she has that's her choice but she’s still my friend and I will always care for her.” Gilen tried not to let his sisters words dig into her like a knife, but they did. Maybe she was right...Stella had moved on but that was Gilen's fault he was so stuck in his own head that he did stay with Stella. “maybe it’ll knock his head into the right place then” he growled under his breath. Gilen placed his hand where the vine had slapped him leaving a scratch where the thorns were. While he had a chance he waved his hand in the direction of Nora lifting her off the ground before dropping her suddenly.
