Just How "Elder" are the Elders?!

Let's dissect these side characters for a kids cartoon like stinky, stinky frogs lol

So, while re-reading Onihat's Elder Zine I noticed this:

While the "What if We Kissed at the Anime Expo" zine is not technically canon, Ash had written and storyboarded almost all of the Elder-centric episodes. And crew member fanart has more weight to it than fanart by well...just fans lol.

(plus all of us Elders Enjoyers treat it as canon anyway let's be real lol)

Plus I noticed a while ago a confirmed editor for Cartoon Network who works on Craig of the Creek (and is the only reliable source for new episode updates btw), said this in a reddit thread:

I wonder if there's an official series bible and Matt and Ben made for the crew. And when the show is officially finished, if us fans will get to see it.

But yeah I'm pretty sure these are the only direct references to their age. Makes sense, since the Elders are based off a web series Matt and Ben made like 15 years ago where they are definitely supposed to be in college:

And of course Kenneth is already in college, and he's their long lost childhood friend and the unofficial 4th Elder of the Creek (even though he was separated when he was a young...ler lol)

Anyway I just think it's hilarious that they're supposed to be in college but took a gap year to play with dice with too many sides and foam swords.

JUSTIFICATION:

"She's so insecure and repressed. She had a fight with her life long friends based around these insecurities that was so bad the group broke up and weren't seen together for the rest of the show. One of the friends was kinda implied to have his own queer awakening the moment he was actually able to interact with people outside of their group and get a perspective on life that wasn't 100% DnD and anime and I feel she'd have a similar experience if she just put herself out there the slightest bit. The egg would crack immediately and she'd go from insecure loser nerd boy to confident Mean Girl so fast. She'd also totally name herself after an anime character cuz she's still a loser, transition won't change that, but she'd at least be happier. Also the fic "Markdoka Magica!" by BonkerBuster69 (both on Tumblr and Ao3) is really good and turned me into a firm transfem Mark believer." - Anonymous
