did isaac always have his long hair? or was it one day he was like “yeah i’m gonna grow it out for the hell of it” thing. cause he also seems like the type to have a bowl cut as a child

tbh I imagine him as having had even longer hair when he was younger. when he turned 13 or so he (as in his mom or dad) probably cut a bunch of it off and then it grew into what it currently is

this ask is how I discovered that learning to swim is not a requirement in public schools even though it definitely should be

I think like, everyone in ibvs knows how to swim. it's just that some of them suck at it (I can see nevin sucking at swimming)

(context: what is the album cover for isaac's og theme) yeah, I do have a lot of doodles and unfinished sketches mostly from like 2018-2020, so they make convenient appearances at times lol

since we're here (doodle on the right) I should tell you that back in like 2017 when I was trying to figure out what ibvs was going to be about there was a rejected concept in which isaac beamer "gets a (generic boyband) haircut and starts going to the gym and that is all it takes for him to become less depressed" which sounds so stupid and funny in retrospect. it has the exact same energy as when people watch tv dramas and go "why doesn't every single character just talk about their problems like mature adults" and we're all like. because that would be boring

I'm fckng interested in what kind of cars ibvs dudes drive. or at least the ones they rode in the Jock Soap Opera chapter

in order: edward's car, barry's car, dez's car, justin's car, louis's car

imagine louis's car is like. really beat up and the wrong color. louis has an old person car but not in retro way, like, that car looks old as shit and is barely hanging on. edward's car is probably also really beat up.

note that with all them being teenagers the actual ownership of their cars moreso goes to their parents (also justin's family only has 1 car so it is hard for him to get permission to use it)

I would also put a picture of felix's car but we all know he drives a silver tesla (and also has access to a huge white minivan for some reason)

Have you ever considered making music for IBVS like how you have with dreamswap? Just curious!!

I actually have made music for it, I just never posted it online 🥲

a bunch of it is pre-"ky's laptop they got in 2022 ate half of their instrument library and it needed to be repaired from scratch", though I do have some old mp3 exports and a couple of newish things. I just haven't had a reason to be motivated to post them 💦 if you talk me into it I'll probably do it
