The Dark Side
Just finished the last episode of Star Wars Clone Wars season 5. All I have to say is I’m glad Anakin eventually kills all of the Jedi. They are blind fools... Or I may just be angry. I tend to be extreme when I feel betrayed by a loved character. I’m working on it.

To begin by always thinking of love as an action rather than a feeling is one way in which anyone using the word in this manner automatically assume accountability and responsibility. We are often taught we have no control over our “feeling.” Yet most of us accept that we choose our actions, that intention and will inform what we do. We also accept that our actions have consequences. To think of actions shaping feelings is one way we rid ourselves of conventionally accepted assumptions such as that parents love their children, or that one simply “falls” in love without exercising will or choice, that there are such things as “crimes of passion,” i.e., he killed her because he loved her so much. If we were constantly remembering that love is as love does, we would not use the word in a manner that devalues and degrades its meaning. When we are loving we openly and honestly express care, affection, responsibility, respect, commitment, and trust.

Remember, care is a dimension of love, but simply giving care does not mean we are loving.

Love and abuse cannot coexist. Abuse and neglect are, by definition, the opposites of nurturance and care.

Most of us learn early on to think of love as a feeling. When we feel deeply drawn to someone, we cathect them; that is, we invest feelings or emotions in them. That process of investment wherein a loved one becomes important to us is called “cathexis.” In his book Peck rightly emphasizes that most of us “confuse cathecting with loving.”

My computer bit the dust
So my computer finally broke down after 9 years of wonderful service. It started to slowly stop working at the beginning of last year. It put up a good fight but it finally lost the war. I’ll truly miss it.
Goodbye computer...

At first I wasn’t sure about this one. I’m not a big fan of bathroom humor. But I have to say I’m very glad I watched it. I laughed so much and enjoyed quite a bit of second hand embarrassment. I would recommend you watch it.

Contrary to popular belief love is not instinctual but learned. It’s our choice to love.

This song. I cannot describe what this song does to me. I absolutely love it. Since the first time I heard it back on Toonami to now. The feels this song invokes. I don’t know if I’m ridiculously happy or if I want to cry. All I know is I’m going to survive. I’m going to conquer the world and more than likely get stuff done.
