As I said I’ve been trying to tweak with hat designs little by little, but man is it hard 😂// I thought adding a few strings would make for an interesting choice! Because it kinda makes you wonder what story is behind those strings, you know what I’m saying? You know how some artists really enjoy drawing long flowy hair? Well my thing is drawing huge blocky hands 😂// I don’t know why it is that way, but I’m a really big fan of just messing around with hand size when drawing people. I feel like it adds so much character to the drawing 😉 - Something else that I also enjoy doing is really adding a lot of shading on the face, which I’ve been trying to avoid lately 😱 I just feel like when you’re drawing on a smaller scale if you’re not careful enough the shading can end up looking muddy. Been trying to experiment with hats a tad more 🐝// I feel like drawing the same style of hat over and over again can get a bit repetitive. I realized I haven’t really drawn any curly haired dude in a while... or ever 😂😂// I feel like I have a go to hairstyle for men that I feel the most comfortable drawing which is short on the sides and a wavy top, maybe cause that’s the kinda hairstyle that I have? I saw a picture of @audraauclair that she posted on her stories in which she was cuddling her kitty and I just had to draw them 😊 // So I really just wanted to capture the facial expression because I thought it looked so adorable 🙊 I added a witch hat cause you know, that’s always fun (: - Btw! I just got a new eraser yesterday on the mail and it’s honestly so nice to use.
