so you know how Janus kept Logan out of the courtroom scenario in SvS? i think it’s pretty obvious that he did it because he knew Logan would have made a better candidate for a lawyer than Patton, and quickly pointed out any attempts at deception or cheating from Janus's part.

but i think this was Janus’s fatal mistake that ultimately led to Thomas choosing the wedding over the comeback.

think about it. Logan did not seem particularly excited about the wedding. he only even took it into account because Thomas cared so deeply about his friends.

not to mention, he uses the word “potentially”, meaning that even he is skeptical about the idea that Lee and Mary Lee will cut contact with Thomas as soon as he even thinks about not attending their wedding.

i mean, Logan is Thomas's logic. as much as he pretends not to understand emotions and relationships, even he knows that Lee and Mary Lee are good friends who aren't going to turn on Thomas for such a small reason.

he is also disgruntled about the fact that Thomas’s friends tend to distract him, which just adds to Janus’s argument.

and on the other hand, Logan was and had always been concerned about Thomas’s job, and while acting isn't his forte, the callback was still a huge opportunity for Thomas to earn more and sustain his living.

Janus’s plan was to manipulate Roman into choosing the callback over the wedding, but he failed to take into account that Roman knew and liked Patton a lot more than he liked Janus.

and Logan, while not entirely agreeing with Janus's ideology, may have opted for a middle ground. being Thomas's logic and common sense, he might have suggested the obvious solution of simply talking to Lee and Mary Lee, and finding a fair middle ground, instead of forcing Thomas to pick a side. (haha.. sanders sides...)

Finally finished this one after thinking about it for a while and wringing my hands over a reference photo. I think it turned out well! Really, I think all the sides (light or dark) need a good nap. Let’s hope Thomas lets all of our boys relax. 💜
