My Ottoman era feminist journal design, I created this based on some late ottoman era journals. I combined them and this is the final result. In the middle I drew the historical Turkish female figures, such as the first female fighter pilot, authors, a nurse served in ww1, a soldier...
The written text is from a feminist journal, here is the translation:
Once, for women to receive education, which is a requirement of human dignity, was considered shameful due to some superstitious beliefs, and therefore, the being called "woman" was regarded almost as something distant in the eyes of men. However, this injustice has been revealed in the face of the natural progress achieved by our era. The words of one of our literati express this:
"Why should women be considered inferior to men? Is there a deficiency or excess in their creation?"
It is heard that in some countries, where it is recognized that women are also part of humanity and therefore should share the rights possessed by another class, women are being employed in a few roles and positions that were traditionally considered male. I truly want to say that women are equal to men in every aspect.

My design for the beautiful ottoman poem written in the very first feminist ottoman journal.
Here is the translation of the text:
"There was an extraordinary calm and silence in the surroundings, a spiritual tranquility reigned. There was no movement or sign that would remind one of the presence of a soul-bearing creature in the universe. The mist that covered the green mountains and graceful valleys was slowly fading away. The gentle breeze that started to blow was dispelling the drowsiness of a girl who had just awakened from sleep. Shortly thereafter, the joyful chirping of delicate birds and especially the melodious songs of nightingales, the messengers of love, turned the blooming garden in front of my window into a musical feast. My soul was so elated that I began to imagine myself in a divine place, and my thoughts ascended to such heights that I had to consider myself on par with the sky. It was impossible not to be captivated by this heart-pleasing scene created by the Almighty, which was a great testament to the divine power, might, and grandeur displayed to the spectators of the universe’s beauty."
