Even though they study really hard in school, as soon as they graduate, they work 12 hours a day. So it seems that Koreans find making time to do anything other than work quite difficult. They think that if they don’t always work diligently, they’ll lose their chance to have a good life.” “Then what would you like to suggest to them?” “(Right) I wish society would be more open minded. Society here is so competitive… Everything they do comes from a good place. Hoping that their kids will have better jobs than they do, with the ability to live life with ease. But I wish people wouldn’t just be like ‘work, work, work,’ and take time to meet other people and enjoy life.”
