How it was when you first saw a yautja ? What was your first predator/alien movie ?

I'm not sure how to answer the first question,,,sry

My first film about yautja was Predator 1987(yep). I watched it for the first time as a kid cuz my mom loved the alien and predator franchises. But then I kind of gave up watching the next movies, and it wasn't until this year that I suddenly decided to watch the same movie, and I suddenly got really hooked

And here I am

Maybe Harpy is not the best swimmer, cuz basically he moves through trees with the help of long claws, but he can swim! And yes, pleaseeeee It sounds amazing! Harpy would be happy to spend time with them, he will probably bring his brother himself next time (Carefully, Berkut is much more energetic and irrepressible lmao)

I finally made my OC Yautja, it's my first time drawing a yautja be kind😭😭😭

I still don't know what to name it, so I'm open to any suggestion.

Some sketches and facts about two of the bird boys!

『Berkut』

✧He's the youngest of the three, and he's trying to prove himself the most.

✧Like everyone else, he doesn't remember his name. Named after the Golden Eagle cuz of some similarities (I use the Russian name of the bird)

✧The four ribs of his first victims are woven into the dreadlocks.

『Harpy』

✧He has a strong brotherly bond with Berkut, although they are not related to each other.

✧Named after the American Harpy Eagle.

✧The quietest of them all. Expresses little emotion.

Some common facts about them all!!

° In addition to the color of their skins, they also have impressive claws that exceed the usual claws of a yautja. Also look like the claws of birds of prey.

° At some point, all three of them arrived on earth and for some reason decided to work with people together. It was there that they received new names in honor of birds.

@only-aliens thank you for the lovely help! for a first time I think i got it nicely :] Hope you dont mind me tagging you,,

I was a bit in a hurry so I couldn't make it prettier but heres a young Malakopinna bonding with their first Yautja pup. The pup is equally as intrigued and excited as the Malako.

Fun fact!

On this planet, the Yautjas evolved in such ways that all pups are born with plain, greyish white skin to mimic snow. Truly, Yautjas are apex predators of the planet but their pups are still are just defenseless babies.

Also Malakopinna only bond for so long with Yautjas till the Malakos have their big migration.

Malakos raise their young alongside Yautjas, they help teach them how to swim and dive while the Yautjas aid with the feeding.

Malakos will teach their young to btw only bond with the youngs of the Yautjas the parents have bonded to. They have generational bonds, rarely do these get broken.
