Since Welt promised to return the favor, he made sure to have everything prepared for a right moment (and a big surprise).

Welt treated reader with gifts he knew they’d like, knowing them well enough over the years (anything of your choice obviously).

He got them a bunch of flowers which were a Rose, Forget-Me-Not, Camellia, Sunflower, and a Alstroemeria (Welt got one of each).

Welt even made a small chocolate cake for his lover and if they didn’t like sweets, he always had a back up just in case (ex: spicy chocolate. Idk if sour chocolate exist so I’m sorry to the sour lovers out there).

Welt even made a small plush of himself for his lover if they ever miss him while out on a Trailblazer Expedition <3 (totally not based from a Sirin & Reader fic I read on Wattpad that had Welt having implied feelings for reader in it I think).

He also did reservations at a restaurant, but if his lover didn’t want to eat out, he was totally fine with it! He’ll make something back at the Express for reader since he enjoys cooking for them.

Then when it almost hits midnight, Welt goes on one knee, grabbing a small box from his pocket as he opens it, showing a ruby ring.

“Will you marry me, Rakkaani?”

Welt knows he was probably late (very) to pull out the ring but he finally had a chance to do so.

Both him and his now fiancé agreed that once they find a way back to Earth, they’ll get married.

But the tricky part is, does his fiancé want to go by “Yang” or “Nokianvirtanen” when it gets close to their wedding day…?

Welt doesn’t care that his lover is rich since he doesn’t care for money much but he’ll always return the favor and make stuff for reader since he’ll feel bad if he doesn’t

Literally falls in love with them even more reader feeds him (like cake or chocolate etc.) because he finds it romantic as he has a goofy smile on his face since he’s comfortable around his lover

Reader spoils Welt (money and bake stuff wise but mostly money), getting him more sketchbooks and fancy drawing pencils/colored pencils and some markers

Welt rewards his lover with a big kiss on the lips since he’s so happy and not being used to being pampered so much

Sometimes reader would make homemade pockey (from scratch) and would make Welt do the pockey game with them (has to explain it to him before they do it since he doesn’t know the game) and he agrees since he’s eating a biscuit covered in chocolate and might kiss his lover in the end if they don’t pull away <3

Welt actually kinda likes it if his lover puts a piece of chocolate (or other candy) into their mouth before kissing him and moving the candy into his mouth with their tongue as he eats it after like nothing happened (sexually and non-sexually)

Welt has eaten a whole cake before by them no questions asked

Being a Herrscher and vampire is definitely a pain in the ass for him let’s be honest 💀

This man would always be gentle when sucking on his lovers neck, he makes sure not to take too much since he doesn’t want to hurt them and make them weak.

After Welt sucks on readers neck he makes sure to kiss the mark he made and massages their neck to ease their pain.

Sometimes I think he’d drink tomato juice for the hell of it to fuck with reader so they believe that vampires drink tomato juice as a substitute.

Welt has debated if he wanted to change reader into a vampire because he knows he lives longer than reader but hasn’t said anything to them due to anxiety and fear.

Sometimes when reader and Welt kiss, he’d bite their lip, making it bleed a little, letting out a small laugh as he sucks on their lip to suck the blood out.

But at the end of the day Welt always loves his old human lover as he is an old Herrscher and vampire.

I don’t think Welt would be that bothered when he finds out reader is vampire since he’s seen worse in the span his 82 year old life.

He’d let reader drink his blood if they wished to but would completely understand if they didn’t because they don’t want to hurt him.

I’d like to think they’d walk on ceil which results the Express members being terrified.

Welt tries to not make reader insecure about their sharp teeth so he shows them his sharp canines as well to mark them feel better.

I think he’d might sleep in the daytime with reader from time to time since if I remember Welt can’t canonically sleep and that man is either gaming or animating all night really.

Welt definitely giggles and lets out small laughs as reader playfully nibbles on his neck a bit (I feel like he’s not used to skin on skin contact which is why he could be sensitive a bit).

He oddly finds it attractive when he sees his blood around his lovers lips and teeth and he doesn’t know why (he isn’t telling anyone due to embarrassment).

He kinda finds it funny if he gives reader a pat on the head or rub their back that make a sound similar to a purr of a cat. But he loves them regardless.

If reader ever meowed in front of him I feel like he’d meow back for fun as the both of them meow together.

Welt wouldn’t mind if reader kneaded on his back or chest because he honestly finds it relaxing (it put him to sleep once somehow).

He is content with reader sleeping or laying on his back because it kinda helps with fixing his posture a bit since he is either hunched while gaming or drawing (He canonically games).

Id like to think when Welt took a stroll in Jarilo-VI since him and reader agreed to take a small break from the “young ones” to get away from the chaotic ness as they did their own thing on the planet.

When Welt was done doing whatever he was doing (probably checking some books in Belobog), he was going to find reader so they could go back in the Express in one piece.

Welt couldn’t find reader anywhere in Belobog so he decided to go out of Belobog and go out into the Outlying Snow Plains knowing it was a quiet area since he knew reader well enough due to not liking crowded and loud areas.

As he walked further into the snowy plains, we could hear the sound of someone’s voice that he recognized due to his enhanced hearing as a Herrscher, but he couldn’t pinpoint what they were saying or talking about until he got closer.

Then Welt heard the sound of reader singing. But to not alarm them, he decided to hide behind the stone wall and listen to them.

Welt hasn’t heard someone sing like this in so long that it reminded him of Heinrich (his mother) that almost made him feel like going to sleep since reader’s singing sounded nice and calm as he had a gentle smile on his face.

But about another 30 minutes later, Welt had to interrupt readers singing despite him not wanting to but he had to so the other Express members didn’t get worried about them.

But when he made his presence known, reader became red in the face as they stuttered, trying to lie about them singing and all that but Welt interrupted them,

“It’s okay rakas, your voice was lovely.”

He said that with a cute smile (I’d imagine) as reader is happy that Welt enjoyed their singing as they gave Welt a smile in return before they held hands, going back to the Astral Express.
