Any tips on drawing cars/planes? I'm so hilariously bad at drawing anything non-organic, but I really wanna draw Cars ocs n stuff.

Hey there! I’m not very good at giving advice but I do have a recommendation if you’re struggling!

I recommend using sketchfab.com as a way to practice, you can search and move around specific car models and learn the different angles as a means to improve. In all honesty, I’ve been drawing cars for a long while with a history of transformers so I can definitely say it gets easier over time the more you practice. :)

Not to mention he was literally racing in the first place cause he wanted to show that mater and his friends WERENT low lives. Mater was literally destroying the entire point of lightning trying to defend him

It’s literally like ??? I loved mater in his prime moments but god the writers did him so dirty

I know that it’s one of the plot points of cars 2 that we are meant to feel sorry for mater because lightning is being mean to him and stuff, buuuuttt imo almost everything lightning did was completely justifiable 😭

He probably shouldn’t have been so harsh towards mater in the scene after the tokyo wgp race but at the same time it’s totally understandable why he reacted like that

In the start of the movie when mater is all upset bc mcqueen wanted to spend ONE (1) night alone with sally instead of him like… he wasn’t even being mean about it and he said to mater they could do anything he wanted tomorrow😭

then, once they got to Japan, mater was acting completely inappropriate and had zero regard for cultural difference or even just the formality of the event they were at and like… me personally if my friend was acting like that in that situation I’d be embarrassed too!!!

Finally, back to the end of the Tokyo race, who wouldn’t be absolutely raging at their friend for not signing off when he should have and messing up a huge global race being watched by probably millions across the world, as well as one against Francesco (the most irritating rival known to man) (I love him tho at least he’s not an awful person like some people) who had been extremely annoying to mcqueen the night before. Like I know id be mad if I lost to someone who was taking the piss less than 24 hours earlier💀

I don’t think mater should change himself necessarily, not on a personality level, just he should have at least some courtesy fr😭😭 this is probably the only complaint about cars 2 that I have because I absolutely love this film and I love mater as a character, juuusssttt… not in this film. Or not all the time anyway. Most of the time he’s funny and I like him, there’s just these moments I’ve mentioned here which are slightly annoying in my humble opinion
